Munoxy are born from the stool of two
different gender munoxy. Thus, no harm comes to either of the parents through breeding. After they have cooled and folded into fortune cookies, a fortune with a genetic code on the back and partial description on the front will form. They remain encased in the cookie until a week's time. Soon after, the cookie breaks and a small
kit is born from it. After a month's time, the kit will grow into a full-fledged
doe or
buck. This is when buck's become most fertile, and can start breeding. However, it will take another month before the doe's are able to breed.
After they are full grown, they go into the pound. These will be available until adopted by fellow adopters or staff. Sometimes contests are held where special munoxy or full grown (in the pound) munoxy are prizes, depending on what the contest is for.
The genetics of a munoxy can be found at the very bottom like shown below...

Each individual munoxy has it's own code that makes up for every
single aspect of it's whole being! As more variations of a gene occur, the more numerals will be found in there code. For whole new entire genes, a new letter will be used. The uppercase letters represent
dominant traits. While the lowercase letter represent
recessive traits.
The more recessive genes a munoxy has, the more it is worth! This is why some munoxy at full grown potential, are worth more than others. To figure out which gene works for which, you will want to look at the genetic codes of multiple munoxy to determine what is the same, and what is different. Why does this munoxy have shorter legs than another? Is this recessive or dominant?
How often a gene shows up is also determined by dominant or recessive properties... for more on that, see the
Breeding section on how to and how
not to breed.
Munoxy are usually very sweet and loving animals that really only need a good home to go to as they cannot survive on their own in the wild very long. Their diet usually consists of fresh vegetables, fresh or dried fruit and any types of jerky. A lot of people will purposely breed or buy munoxy for their fur and meat as they are very sweet tasting and their pelts are soft as naturally woven silk. It is generally frowned upon and even illegal in some areas considering the controlled breeding that is needed for them to reproduce.
Average Munoxy Weight and Height
5 to 20(30) lbs
10 to 20(25) in

The largest and tallest Munoxy ever recorded to date is a foxy styled munoxy by the name Booka owned by bakery owner Edna Flowers. She states "The larger the munoxy, the healthier the munoxy..".
Lore of the SpeciesMunoxy were the type of creature that just pop into the world out of thin air. The only big issue that tons of people find is, the munoxy was not made by an act of any spiritual deity... it was made by human's themselves. You see, it all started when a project by the name of MSH (Multiple Species Hydration) was underway, it was something secret that the government wanted to be kept away from civilization. They were working on a project to try and recreate life forms that no longer existed on earth. Yes! Like the dinosaurs and possibly ape men and the like. So they started small... and worked their way up from there...
As rumors began to spread throughout the small town the project was housed in, the government became frustrated and believed that project MSH would never become reality, so they dumped it. Literally dumped the toxic gene pools of various animal species... into a nearby farmer's wheat field. That is when, the beginning of Munoxy sprouted, growing over the year in the form of these crisp grains. A bakery local to the town, ordered it's usual abundance of such plants to mold into pastries. Only, they were suprised to find after making a batch of fortune cookies... when left to ferment on the shelves... little tiny munoxy's sprouted and popped from them!
For awhile, the owner's had no idea how they got into the display cases or what kind of animal they were. As they continued to make batches of these cookies, they soon realized... they were creating new life! From a cookie! The cookies began to sell off the shelves and soon none were left and the first couple of munoxy were starting to die off. The shop clerks had no idea how to reproduce more of the rambunctious little furballs. Then, and idea struck one of them.
"Say, what if we take part of the munoxy and use it in the dough?"The other clerk looked at him in astonishment, but realized he only meant by either clipping their hair's or saliva to make cookies from that. When they noticed that didn't work, and that the females had no way to actually give birth. Only one thing was left to take from them... their waste. The bakery clerks tried just male waste and then female waste, but only when they mixed the two would more munoxy
sometimes sprout.
"How can we tell when we can breed them?!" the other man pulled his hair in frustration. So they began to study the munoxy until they realized the females have a certain time when their "manure" is slightly colored different and soft yet almost to hot too touch, when mixed with the other gender form a chemical reaction that if baked for a certain time, form new life.
After this major discovery, the internet took hold of this new species and soon they were popping up everywhere, from multiple bakeries. All because of a little accidental spill... on a farmer's land.
Munoxy do NOT:- Have Magical Powers
- Live life in the wild well
- Kill other creatures
- Have thumbs to use electronical equipment.
RamoxyIt's said for every ten Munoxy that exist, one Ramoxy is born. Ramoxy are a sub species of Munoxy that grow straight or curled horns, even at the kit stage have yellow eyes and have hooves. Not much is known about this species besides the fact that they can breed with Munoxy and sometimes their horns, eye color and hooves, can skip generations. It appears the genes are mostly recessive.
EastoxyEastoxy are said to be the general tricksters of the Munoxy sub species. They love playing pranks and sticking their noses where it doesn't belong. That being said they sprout from eggs around Easter time, unlike other species of Munoxy that occur every so many of Munoxy that are born. They also are born full grown and breedable. (That's right! Breedable!) Though if you breed a Eastoxy with another Eastoxy, the only variations you will see are the ears and colors. They can breed with other species of Munoxy it's just not recommended since they like to stick to their own kind. Most of their genes are recessive in normal Munoxy anyways so unless you want to breed for the ears or tail, you are better off trying to win Eastoxy like items during Easter events. It seems that the eye style and buck teeth are not a gene shared by other species of Munoxy other than Eastoxy, so you can only reproduce the genes through two (purebred) Eastoxy.
