Story: i walk through the forest,alone and young. never before have a walked alone in the forest. something was behind me that i was not aware of, A lion. it was dark and i could not walk any farther and i fell over a tree root i could not see and before you knew it he was there, black eyed, staring at me.i was so scared i had no clue what he would do and even in my terror she came. oh how she was strong! She came so fast and before i could get up she beat him with her diamond hard claws and,bleeding, he led. You saved me!i cried sobbing not just for me but my savor,Raven.

Later that day we were at a barn. i was sitting reading out loud and Sarena, laying next to me munching on Rabbit meat carelessly with her head held high. an just to think this animal of grace, saved my young little life.

Reason why you want it: For my characters. It'll, for shure, have a special spot. And I love any and all things dark. I also love fog, fire, glow, and other special effects.
Describe its personality: Trusing and loyal to those it knows. But to strangers, cold and unforgiving.He often uses his "Special Looks" to get what he wants, although he wouldn't dare hurt those he trusts.
Story:
This will be from Storm's (my fursona, see characters in siggy) POV.

Storm shivered in the wind. She looked up at the dark sky. She grumbled under her breath and looked back at the river. She had set up a tent next to it, and she wasn't going to leave without a friend. She got up from beside the small fire, and poured some water on it. She walked to her tent and quickly climbed inside. She got into her sleeping bag and fell asleep.

Storm woke up in the middle of the night. She looked around, sensing something was diffrent. She sat up and looked at the tent sides. Strange shadows danced across the surface. Storm thought of what was going on:
1) There was a friendly creature on the other side
or
2) There was a dangerous creature on the other side.
Storm took her chances and crawled outside. She lost her breath at what she saw, a herd of sketal horses clustered around the river. She got up and surveyed the herd. A movement distracted her from the herd. She heard a slithering sound, like hundreds of feet. She backed away from the sound. She saw a large horse raise its head and look at the sound. It was clear that the horses were also afraid of the sound.
Large creatures scurried into the clearing. They were like giant centepedes. They quickly encircled the herd. Storm saw a foal fall down on the far edge. The closest creature darted forward to grab the creature. Storm took to the air quickly. She landed on top of the creature as it was about to attack the foal. She climbed onto the beast's head and stabbed one of its eyes with her claw. It twisted around it anger as Storm took to the air again. She managed to grab the foal and flew into the air. The mare made a sound like a wind blowing through dead leaves. The creatures turned to the mare and grabbed her. She was dragged away by the beasts. Angry noises came from the herd, much like bones rattling. Storm flew down to the ground and sat the foal down. She walked back to her tent, but the little foal followed her.
"Go back to your herd," Storm said to the little creature, but it stayed.
"Oh well. I guess I could keep you," Storm said, and the foal jumped over to her.

The next day Storm left the forest with the little foal that she had now named, Fogfire. Fogfire was loyal to Storm, for saving its life. They were friends from then on.

Reason why you want it: I've never actually adopted many pets from things like this, and this pet is BEAUTIFUL! I love the design and she is truly magnificent!
Describe its personality: She is a quiet animal, preferring the company of trees than to the company of fellow creatures. She is a thinker, and is very clever, solving problems with ease. She has only a few close friends, which she will defend with her life, as she finds it hard to make friends. Her favorite past-times are reading, writing poetry and drawing onto stones with her sharp talons.
Story: When she was born, trees whispered her name throughout the forest, as she was the first ever blind gryphon. Her mother died in child-birth, and she never knew her father, so was left as an orphan the day she was born. She was taken in by a wise Eagle Owl, who taught her the ways of the world, preparing her for later life. She eventually learnt how to go about, even though she couldn't see. One day, the Eagle Owl she had gotten to know went missing, and she couldn't find him anywhere, as humans had taken him away. This first made her fear humans, and made the decision that she would become a recluse, as she was scared the same thing would happen to her. Eventually, she got over her initial fear, and would once more go around the forest, where I then met her.

I slowly made my way towards the creature, extremely nervous.
"Hello, what is your name?" The creature's voice was ominous, and very powerful. I was scared to answer, but I knew I should, to be polite.
"I'm ShadowRoselia, how about you?" I wanted to make conversation, so that was the best question I could come up with. The creature's clear, blue eyes rested on me, and I felt awkward. She noticed my change and spoke to me in her strong voice again.
"You need not feel embarrassed about me looking at you, I am blind," She turned away. She was blind? I frowned thoughtfully. "My name is Glas Hyfryd, it is Welsh for 'Lovely Blue'. Do not ask why I was named that, I do not know," Facing me again, she stood up. "I do not think you have been here before, have you?"
I shook my head. "Nope, have many others come here to talk to you?" Standing before this majestic animal made my mind swirl, making me forget what I could say. The blue beast gave a light chuckle.
"I have had my fair share of visitors over the years. Why did you come here then, ShadowRoselia?" A question I knew how to answer, but maybe not without offending Glas Hyfryd.
"Um, to get a companion, I'm not that good at making human friends, so, um, yeah," I shuffled my feet nervously. Glas Hyfryd nodded, her blue feathers fluttering like paper in the wind.
"I understand what you mean, I faced the same problem. And, I guess I still do," Her voice faltered slightly, but then picked up its air of grace again. "That's why I came here also, to find a friend," I looked up at her, at the beautiful blue face that had struggled socially like myself. "It's a hard life being blind, but I have survived this far," She puffed up her chest proudly. "It's so hard to find someone who can understand what I've been through,"
I nodded, I felt the exact same way. I felt I could relate to what the feathery animal was saying, something I never had felt with anyone else. Perhaps she, this graceful, proud creature would become my companion?
I cleared my throat lightly. "I understand what you mean, and, it feels nice that someone else understands me. Perhaps, maybe, you would be my companion?" The large blue head swept through the air, and stopped right in front of my face, the empty eyes staring straight into my soul. What answer would I get?

On another note I need to take a break from Darko Forest, I have plans to re-open the forest later on with a new look and creatures to match. Thank you all for the support and wonderful applications, it was a pleasure to read and interact with everyone.

Reason why you want it: Because it is a beautiful hybrid that has wings.
Describe its personality: She can sometimes be outgoing to others, but prefers to socialize with her most favorite owner. She will often walk near her owner, and always listens to her owner. she will run ahead, or walk alongside. She is kind, affectionate, and calm.
Story: I looked into the field and spotted a gryphon in the clearing. I slowly aproached, before hearing a powerful voice echo, "Please, state your name, human." I then quickend my pace to the gryphon, and answered, "wajas." She then walked towards me and said, "What is your reason? To be my companion?" she asked with a hint of interest. I replied with a calm "yes", and she then introduced herself. "My name is Midnight, it is not so easy to persuade me to be your companion, but try." I then thought of a starting point. I then answered, "Out here in this forest, do you have someone to have look out for you?" She replied with a "no' and I continued. "What about someone to care for you?" she answered with a calm no, and then said "So, you would want me to be your companion so you can look after and care for me?" I then reasoned with a yes, and soon concluded "I will come visit you, give you what you need, and let you be my companion. I am also your companion." She thought about this as she paced around me, before replying, "Well....I won't really need to worry about food or a place to sleep...and company seems pleasant....alright, I'll be your companion.."
