This is a palomino / appaloosa mix. I chose the name Silva because it means "from the forest" in Latin, thus fitting the background. It's being used as an entry in this competition. I made a palette - the four colors in the upper right-hand corner are the basic colors I used. I used pretty much all of the tools available. I had to shade the mane, tail, and feathering myself, as it's not shaded in the original lineart.
