Schnapps was originally a surgeon who specialized in muscle structure. However, he had his license revoked when it was discovered he was using his knowledge to commit brutal acts of torture - he was arrested but escaped before he ever made trial.

Schnapps can use his wings like spare fingers, and the claw-tips are manipulatable. He often uses them as spare slicing tools on his victims.

The "darts" on his legs act as tranquilizers; they are removable, but grow back. Schnapps is immune to the tranquilizing chemical inside them, so even if he accidentally pricks himself he'll be unaffected.
