& every time I tried to fix them, they ended up looking worse xD

I really like the stages so far! =)
for fixing shaky lines:
1) make them in another layer... in that way you can easily use the eraser tool to sharpen stripes and so on ^^
or
2) try to set markings on one coloured places... in that way you can use the backgrounds colour as the eraser to sharpen the markings... it's as easy as the upper tip but goes diffiult if the markings reach across a colour junction...

I hope that can help you a bit ^^

Yeah, I was lazy on the egg and did it all on one layer.
Used multiple layers on the stage 3, so much easier but a lot more erasing xD

also for shakey lines use the straight line tool, I find it works best. Sometimes the square brush helps as well.
