Many years ago, in a science experiment gone wrong, a band of scientists accidently opened a portal that lead to other worlds. The thing about this protal was that no-one knew where the lead and no one had been brave enough to walk through, so it gained itself the name of The Unknown Portal. Ever since then, the scientists thought they should do the decency of helping the creatures who come through the portal to settle in so this was created.

Rules:
1. Don't steal any of the art or designs
Each of the artists worked especially hard on them so it wouldn't be nice at all if they had them stolen. Stolen artwork will result in an automatic blacklist

2. Don't ask to be mod or artist
If I feel you can be commited enough I will ask you myself but please don't PM me. Scientists are artists and Biologists are mods.

3. There are currently no limits
Although there are no limits please try and leave some for other people

4. No spamming/whining/unessicarily comments we have a chat for that
No whining on the chat though. Chat is for questions and spam.

5. You may not take a pet that does not belong to you or redistribute them
If you don't want your pet anymore PM me and I will readopt it

6. When ordering customs, all artists have the right to deny any order
Quite self explanatory, if we don't feel comfortable doing it we reserve the right to not do it

There are currently 3 known species to our scientists

The Fugculum.
Their Latin name is Fugio Spiculum. These were the first species to appear via the portal and appear to the scientists. They are built for grassy terrain and the extra legs help them to travel at speed and hunt prey and escape predators. The generally feast on worms and grass though sometimes when they are extremely hungry they can eat bigger prey. Males appear to have more chestfur which are known as manes in their land. There is also a variation on the tails which are bobtail or curly tail.

The Nireus
These creatures, second to come through the portal are shy creatures. They are built for a mountain terrain as their jewels can radiate heat and keep the warm in even the coldest of climates. They are modest and caring and try not to get into trouble. They are complete herbivores unlike the wolves that they are descended from.

These species were a collab between Oynxwings and Tennis.

The Licidium
The Licidium are rare and majestic creatures. They are greatly sought after by hunters and their horns have healing powers but those powers are only used when near death. The Licidium are considered perfect creatures and have no bad attributes. They are vegetarians as they believe that killing other creatures is bad and they are suitable for most habitats though they prefer empty areas.

This is the area where the scientists help our species to go to good caring homes. Each adopter is required to write a personality and history for their wanted creature and after a selected amount of time Tennis will choose a winner. If you get that creature you may be provided with an unshaded ref but no promises. No pets are required for this process. Just an imaginative mind C:

Us scientists have worked out a way to use the genes and create a creature of whatever you want it to look like. We are very against this idea though so it will be very expensive as we hope not to do this too often.
