The young demi-god sat tentatively watching the mouth of a cave she had only spent a short amount of time in this realm, and yet rumors of this area had spread to her ears. A faint blush touched her alabaster cheek as she thought of the great dragon like creatures that were said to dominate this place. From the rumors they seemed intelligent, and docile compared to their cousins that dotted the world she came from. A light sigh escaped her mouth, and she lifted a single dainty hand to her heart shaped face. Silently she brushed her nutmeg colored hair away from her face, exposing her left ear, which delicately tapered off to a point. She was bored, and the rock she had perched on was hard and very uncomfortable. Not to mention the looks of longing the mortal men would send her way, It all added to her feelings of uneasiness. She sighed lightly before sitting back, something in the air around her had changed. Slowly she opened her mouth up and inhaled, she could taste the presence steadily moving towards the platue she and the mortals waited. Her interest was slightly perked, never once had she met any living creature that could capture her interest, or attention such as this presence. Reluctantly she resigned herself to wait for a few more moments, wondering if this dragon could be a potential ally or a threat.
The dragon did not keep her waiting long, Its mottled green scaled pelt sparkled and danced in the light like many faceted emerald. the demi god found her mouth widening in awe as many shoots of spring flowers rose up to meet the dragons hooves. Her eyes widened with slight recognition, then fell to a mortal who had made his way towards the beast. A smirk grew across her face as he bent down to smell a single flower, and promptly fainted. The dragon smirked at the mortal's predicament, but soon continued on her way. The Demi god, Known as Paravati watched her with hungry eyes. The dragon sat, heavily, and flowers sprung oup in a neat circle around her.
Approach me if you dare...
the dragons taunting challenge hung in the air around the platue, and a coy smile grew across paravati's face as she rose to her feet.
She gracefully crossed the distance in a few bounding dance-like strides. Her delicate silk clothing swirled and flowed about her body adding to the demi-gods beauty. she stopped just outside of the dragons circle of flowers. Bowing low she called aout to the dragon in a light playful sing-soing voice.
" Vivamus mi fictile atque forma & peregrini "
She cocked her head slightly at the dragon's silence
"non understant latina?"
Still the silence stretched on.. a strange look crossed the demi gods face as the scrutinized the languages of this realm,
"humm... I guess i shall use English then. Forgive me though I am unfamiliar with the language of mortals."
She smiled cordially at the dragon as she once again bowed low. This time she plucked a single flower from the exquisite circle that ringed the dragon. Lightly she brought it to her nose, and inhaled its scent deeply. she could taste its tart sweetness on her tongue, it would have been overpowering.. if of course she was mortal. Another smile touched her lips as she delicately entwined the flower into her luxurious hair. once done she turned her attention back to the dragon.
"I am sorry, your flowers do not seem to effect me like hey do mortals. I am Paravati, a daughter of Demeter, and a Demi-god."
"I offer you something no other here, and no mortal could ever, My dear exotic beauty I offer you a chance to live in the realm of the gods, and to become forever Immortal as my friend and companion."
smiling she held out a single hand, her palm shimmered and a single golden lotis flower appeared were her palm had been empty only moments before.
