Disappearance of the Nekos V.2(accepting!)

Ikuto was silent for a moment then said, "You smell funny" He leaned down by Rhys and smelt him. It was a strange thing to do but he couldnt help it. It was a rare smell he hadnt smelt in a long time.

Amelia looked up in the sky and sighed. This was just a bad day for her. She wished she had someone out there that could love her like she meant something.

(Homework or RPing... No hard decision there XD)

Rhys leaned back, unsure how to react, after an awkward moment he said, "...You do to?" He stared curiously at Ikuto, wondering who this weirdo was, and debating whether to run away or not.

Katelyn leaned back against a tree in the park, her eyes closed. She sat cross-legged, the rough bark of the tree poking her through her shirt and thin jacket. She listened to the world around her, as if she were just a silent observer, not really there at all. Her tails and ears were hidden, but she couldn't help twitching her tail occasionally to the music only she could hear in her head. Any person walking by would simply have thought her strange, or tired and sleepy. But anyone looking closely enough would be able to see her whole body actually practically hummed with energy as she learned about the things around her by simply sitting still and opening her ears to hear it. She often joked with herself that she would make the perfect blind person, she had no problems with not being able to see, she could probably go anywhere she needed to go in the town perfectly blind.

Jewel continued to be cautious. In her mind, there wasn't such a thing as being too careful. She did jerk now and again at shadows, but none were actually hostile toward her. "Maybe I should lighten up some," she said to herself and soon froze, as she heard a voice from behind. "No, no. You've got it all wrong," she stammered quickly, and immediately tugged on the sides of her little beanie hat. "I just have a dozen cats at home. It must be them that you smell." She paused for a moment to think about what the boy had said. He smelled her. That meant he probably wasn't human at all. Jewel's fearful look was soon replaced by a rather delighted one. "You smell like a cat too," she said softly in reply. She didn't want to say it too loudly, in fear it would draw attention.

Trevor's green eyes immediately drifted over to Amelia when he heard her giggling. And, she was also facing in his direction. He couldn't help but raise a brow. Usually he'd shoo those kinds of people away, but that drew attention to his being. He just stayed put, practically staring her down. But, he wasn't doing that to be rude; he was just to figure out if she was friend or foe.

Chess gave something between a smirk and a smile, flicking one ear out for a split second, just long enough for her to see it and not to draw attention. "You're cute. It's not often I find one of my own kind," he told her, shuffling his hair back in place. "So what's a cute, defenceless girl like you doing out on a dark street like this?" Leaning against a wall, he purred out the question.

"Yeah I know. Some of us blend in much better than others. Obviously, I need to work on my disguises a bit," Jewel said with a light smile. She did catch sight of his ear, and it was reassuring. She tried not to appear phased by his sweet talk, but even she thought that he was a bit cute. Not that she would admit it right now. After all, even though he was a neko, he was still a stranger. "I'm not defenseless," Jewel spoke and giggled lightly. "I'm perfectly capable of defending myself. I've got my claws and my teeth. And I'm just going for a stroll... I guess. It's not as fun as it sounds. Having to watch your back constantly and all." Jewel leaned up against the wall as well, but there was a small distance between her and the other neko.

"Really? I think it quite entertaining~" Chess closed a bit of the distance by turning to lean on one shoulder. "Walks like these let me meet adorable things like yourself~" Real smooth. He was king. No one beat him, the master. He ruled the ladies.

Jewel warily eyed him. It sounded as though he talked like this all the time. "I'm not adorable. I'm fierce." She grinned as she took on the look of a lion, somewhat. Her hands were up and she curled her fingers to form 'claws'. "Rawr." She giggled and dropped her arms back to her sides. "Aren't you flirty. Don't think that I'll fall head over heels for you so soon though, Kitty. What's your name anyway?"

His mouth downturned slightly, but he quickly recovered with a soft laugh. "Whatever you say, Miss Lion. The name is Chester, but most call me Chess. And what would be you're name, Miss Lion?" he purred. Hidden in his pants, his tail was dying to come out and swish around, twitching every so often.

"Jewel. I don't like the name, but I was born with it." Jewel rolled her eyes as she folded her arms across her chest. "And it's nice to meet ya, Chester. I didn't think there were any nekos left in this place." She gave him a light smile. "Want to go for a walk or something? I don't feel comfortable staying in one place for too long. To be honest, I was roaming around the town to see if I could find some abandoned shack to call home."
