Emberwind and Ashstorm
Granddaughter and Grandfather
Hunter and Prey
Emberwind ran through the forest at a quick pase. Soon she stopped, scanning the ground for any sign of the trator. A strand of grey fir was caught in a bush. It still held his sent. She contined moving, following his tracks. Soon she came across a cave. Some of the rocks at the cave's mouth were streaked with blood. She sniffed them. Yes, he had been here. She entered the cave.
"Please don't kill me." He pleaded from the dephs of the cave. The trator was trapped, Ember could hear his claws scratch the back of the cave.
"Ashstorm." She growled. "It is the will of the clan. You must die, you trator."
"Oh Emberwind, how much you have changed." Ashstorm said. He walked out from the dephs of the cave and Emberwind gasped. She had not seen what the other wolves had done as they drove their disgraced Alpha from the clan. He was scarred and had a gaping wound on his flank. He smiled at her. "I remember when you were just a little pup, how we would play games and I would let you ride around on my back. I miss those times."
A tear dripped from Emberwind's eye. "I still love you grandfather, but I must do this."
And with that she ended his life.
Its just so... depressing. I don't know why I wrote it...
I need to agree on that.
