"Aww come on! It won't be that bad!" Blurr insisted, raising his chin proudly to look up at the sandy Glen Rell that stood above him frowning like thunder.
"You are not staying here! Get out of my territory Now!" He snarled advancing a step and forcing Blurr onto his hunches.
"But I lost my mumma and this is the way we were traveling!" Blur said boldly, unafraid
"But, we could be friends?" Blurr tried a different approach, he couldn't stand going back to live on his own. Unfortunately the sandy Glen Rell didn't seem to feel the same way,
"You would be a thorn in my side. Go away!" He snarled irritably

Today was the first day I have had a chance to really look into the day to day lives of these small creatures Called the Glen Rell It is the 2nd day since My colleges and I came here to study this new species. I must say, I'm quite impressed by the breed. They look basically Canine but seem to share some similar Characteristics of the Weasel Family. their average size appears to be around 4-5 feet. They sport quite a bit of long thick fur, some of which is shaggy. Upon further exploration I stumbled upon a cave, a den of sorts. The Many pups, both tiny and otherwise, lazily played and ran about the cave. I found myself the receiver of many wary glances from a clustered group of females in a larger alcove, clearly disturbed by my presence in their den.
After giving them a small shy smile I turned my gaze to the playing kits. Each was a rambunctious specimen in the peak of its youth. I was half tempted to take one away with me to study, and to make it the key source of my studies. But my hand was stathed by something quite odd. Far to the right in a dark and lonely corner for from this bustling place of life; a single emaciated Kit lay alone and forgotten. She, for I have only just now discovered that it is in fact female, caught my attention instantly possibly it was the unique and reclusive seeming nature of the pup rell? Or perhaps it was some Primal Motherly instinct that seems to have bloomed with in me at the sight of am emaciated baby creature .... I do not know but I have decided to take this Rell for my studies.

Ido not understand why the other Rell seem to avoid this young one. Aside from her severe Emaciation and an odd and striking scent, best classified as putrid scent seems to hang about her body. I believe this this has something to do with the days, maybe weeks of not having any care. I have set a minor goal for myself to help the small creature survive.

I'm not certain what is going on with my little Rell, she seems to be growing faster than any normal creature would, and yet she has not gained a single ounce. She also only seems to eat red raw meat, she has refused all other forms of food. That aside her mannerisms seem to point to something abnormal going on with her. She seems to despise bright light, and sunlight in general, though it does not due any bodily harm to her. I first noticed this development when i first brought her to the cave I have set up shop in. Then again when i was checking her over for diseases, my hand happened to brush her eyes which she promptly opened. A low moaning hiss escaped her body as she barred long sharp and broken teeth taking a feral snap at my fingers before once again retreating into the dark. I have not seen her since, she seems to have retreated deep into the shadows of the cave.

Today I was awoken by an odd noise, it was the low moaning hiss of the young Rell, She had wondered back into my chamber and was wandering around in circles emitting her low moaning noise. Believing her to be diseased a slowly moved to grab protection, but to my astonishment the moment my feet touched the ground she rushed over in a flurry of teeth and claws. i pulled my body up to the safety of my bed, luckly the Rell is too small to jump to its top. I am hoping that she will loose interest soon, It seems the is blind or at least unable to see me wile i am not moving. but she knows i am here..

I-I-I don't know what i'm going to do.. The Rell She seems to have turned Feral. She Knows were I am, and seems to be holding me hostage. It has been days.. Weeks even since I have eaten. I'm cold and alone. This will be my Last record I keep in this Journal, I am Dr. Lynn Roe professor of mammalian and reptilian studies. I am 35 years old, Female of Asian-American decent. I will give a Warning to any who read this book. Tread carefully The Wild Rell is dangerous, and very bitey. She is haughty bold and smart. Do not be fulled my the low moaning noise she admits, it seems like nothing more hen a defense mechanism. I must leave, I must try to run. Farewell.
