Guy waited impatiently for John. He always was one who liked to take his time. He looked over at Lyra and scowled before searching the castle crowd for the king.
John looked over his shoulder, between two guards, and saw Kyle jumping around with Lyra. His eyes went wide and he broke through the knight barrier that surrounded him. "What are you doing!" he shouted, more because of the distance and he had to than because he was angry.
Sheriff yawned and watched as his small group of ten men gathered up the last group of taxes from the small village around him. One more tax collection before they went out hunting for the group of outlaws wouldn't hurt. Well, at least it wouldn't hurt him. He couldn't say the same for the villagers. One of the knights walked up with a young man in his grasp. "Sheriff, this man refuses to pay." He said. The man struggled against the big knight and spat insults towards Sheriff and England. Sheriff smirked and shook his head. "Cut out his tongue. He won't need it anytime soon."
