Just as a heads up, I've changed my form from number 40 to number 44. Thank you <3
Chat looked up at the long pillar, his wings folded behind him as he observed not only the challenge but the other dragons come to take it up, as he padded forward the other dragons sized him up, jumping over to greet him,
"Hey Chat!
"Good luck Chat!"
"May the best win!"
Chat acknowledged all these with a polite dip of the head.
As Chat sat down with his multi-coloured wings stretching in anticipation he said nothing, he closed his eyes, this challenge would be the hardest of his life, to get to the top of the pillar you had to fly to the top, navigating fierce wind currents while fighting other dragons for the place at the top. It was a test what if succeeded in would make you a hero. As these thoughts ran through his head, Chat didn't make a sound...
It was time for the test to begin. All the dragons were lining up as the elder of the forest stood on a rock, his gold wings raised, as he threw his head up every dragon crouched, tense and waiting. A great golden flame erupted from his mouth into the sky in a mighty roar that signalled the beginning of the race.
Chat could see a green dragon beside him about to strike out at him, trying to lessen the opponents as it started. As fast as lightning, Chat knew his target, his claws shot out, scraping down the other dragons wing as the roar echoed around his ears.
Before the other dragons could even blink, Chat leaped into the air like a bullet, flapping his many coloured wings and taking him into the wind before any of the others.
The other dragons finally caught up to him, he could see a pink one flying neck and neck to him as they were all thrown by the currents, threatening to send them into the ground. Chat gave the pink dragon such a fierce glare that she quavered, it was enough so that when the next swift biting wind hit them she was thrown off course. Leaving Chat to surge upward, beating his wings powerfully.
Chat's wings ached as he surged to the top of the pillar, the dragons below him snapped at his hind paws but it only gave him extra strength, he landed heavily on the side of the pillar, hauling himself onto the top, he lay there for a minute, trembling with exhaustion before getting to his paws and letting out a roar of victory, the echoing cheers from the ground gave Chat a light headed sensation but he dipped his head and bowed in a gesture he knew all could see...
Lunette wrote:Bella's such a sweet, loving girl. I have yet to find one thing that makes her unhappy. Not that I'm looking, or anything. I really enjoy having her because she always seems to know how to brighten a day, no matter how dark and stormy it is. She's just a naturally happy person, I suppose. Although she has quite a temper, she is very calm and knowing and-boy!- this girl is smart. She can seem a bit... Sad, at times, though. And this sort of worries me. What's wrong? I can't seem to get the answer. But I know she'll confide in me eventually. Other than that, Bella's a very lovable girl. She is so sweet and thoughtful and generous and just a perfect child, if anyone could be perfect.
Gale wrote:Yeah, it is really awesome being around Bella. She's just such a bouncy, bright young woman. No matter how much she talks, she is an amazing little girl. You can't help but feel a lot happier when she's around. Everybodym loves her. Oh, what am I kidding? Of course everyone loves her. She's happy, sweet, wonderful Bella. I love her, and I'm glad she's my kid. I've sort of noticed her sadness at times, though. It worries Lunette. Though I have no idea why. Bella is a tought kid, and if she wants to confide in anyone, she will. Other than that, she is a good kid. She is so, so smart, and she is so kind and good. She is quite the little flirt, though- I can just see her wedding now. Oh, goodness, I can't wait 'till she's in highschool...
Karson wrote:Yeah, Bell's pretty happy. It gets kind of annoying but -hey- she's Bella. What do you expect, from a thirteen year old girl? Shes so bouncy and playful and hyper... I know happiness is supposed to be a good thing, but for me, when Bella's around... It's scary. But other than that, she's a pretty cool chick. She is funny and she's smart. Sure helps when I get dinner duty; I can't make food for squat. That's another really cool thing about Bella. She is willing to lend a hand, and she's so nice. Plus, her spaghetti rocks.
Dazie wrote:I love Bella. I'm so glad she is my sister! She is really fun to be around, and she is always so passionate about what she does. She's pretty funny too. Bella has a beautiful, beautiful soul; she puts others before herself, she gives not to recieve, merely to give, she does what no one else dares to out of fear of what others may think. It's so wonderful to be like that. I admire her bravery- her temper, too. My goodness, Bella is definately not someone to reckon with when she's angry.
Pixie wrote:I'm so thankful for Bells to be my big sister. She's so smart. And she's really nice to me and Lunette and Gale and Dazie and Karson. She loves us all like her family, even though we aren't, but we all love her right back. She is so cool! I want to grow up, and be just like her. Everyone trusts Bella. And when we are bored because it's raining or cold and we can't play at the beach, she always makes up some crazy game to play! It's always so fun! Without Bella, I don't know how life would be. Probably really, really sad, and really, really boring. She always knew how to perk us up in the orphanage, and she still does now. I love Bella.
