Tracker Dog you want:
#74, number seventy-four
The Basics
Name you'll give it:
I will name him Terra.
Terra is Latin for Earth or Land. I thought I would name him this because his colours seem like he could just blend into nature, and especially with his green coloured spots, that almost look like rare stones, that go easily with the grey and also make him look more 'natural'. His ears, tongue and 'eyes' are also a deeper green, that also goes with this natural theme.
Nickname/s:
He prefers to be called Terra, though he doesn't mind being called Ter.
Gender:
He is Male
Tracker Type:
'Wild' Tracker Dog
Age:
Terra is aproximately 6 years and 8 months old, still quite young.
Height:
4'2''
Weight:
Approximately 65 pounds.
Why I want Terra
I have always wanted to get a Tracker Dog as I think they are an interesting and unique creation. As soon as I saw this guy I knew I had to go for him. 'Wild' Trackers are my favourite type, and I prefer the ones with darker colours than the more colourful and I love the 'glow' markings. I'd really love for Terra to be my first Tracker, plus I really like the colour scheme and especially his markings. I'm not the best writer, though I do try my best, I do admit my past forms have not been to the best of my abilities but I'm going to keep trying and hopefully progress in my writing and eventually get a Tracker, I would be honoured to have Terra as my very first Tracker Dog.
Will it be used in any kind of story?:
Of Course he will be

Terra is a young and spirited Tracker dog. He is always full of energy and rearing to go, though needs alot of sleep to prepare for another day.LaChromaticDragonfly wrote:He adores to go out and explore rough terrains and has dreamed of going out to join the army.
Terra has always loved going exploring, he is very adveturous and adores going on his walks past the rocks and trees. He will climb almost anything he finds in the woods. He can be quite stubborn, but doesn't give up too easily, along with his sensetive sense of smell, he'd be the perfect army dog.LaChromaticDragonfly wrote:He loves learning about the various weapons and techniques used in war and its history.
Terra is very clever and loves to learn. He is curius about everything at the start.Abilities

Terra has a strange ability to 'deflect' most forms of toxins and gas. Though he cannot deflect all from his body, Terra can still last longer in war zones, especially during gas attacks when he would be able to try and rescue any survivers.Quirks and Habits

Write an introduction for your Tracker:
Terra held his tail up, pointing to the soft blue sky above him. Not a single cloud was visable. He carried his head proudly, his ears were pricked and he lifted his paws high off the ground. Terra could scent all the cars that had passed across this road, but the acrid smell did not bother him as the tracker concentrated on marching in time to his handler and the rest of K9 unit 12. Humans watched over them with their pups, clapping and cheering. He felt like a real hero.
Suddenly, a new scent reached Terra. It was not a nice scent. Black clouds crowded the sky, and rain began to pour down from above. Terra let out a little squeal. He was not trotting proudly along with his handler anymore. No. He was in a damp, dark place. Narrow walls seemed to close in on him. Dirty water covered his freezing paws. A jacket was now over his back. It was black and had several different pockets; one had a red cross over it and some writing underneath. ''F-I-R-S-T A-I-D...'' Terra read it slowly, trying to decipher each letter. ''Get down!'' yelled a voice. Terra's ears flickered to catch the noise, but it was so quick and loud he couldn't hear it. A dark green, barely visable sort of air began to descend on Terra. He let out a yelp of surprise. The gas began to seep through into the trench, it completely covered Terra, he wasnt able to see a thing.
Terra looked down at his shoulder. The little green markings were glowing. He could see the gas moving around him, but he could still safely breath. It seemed to be forming a kind of bubble of air around the Tracker. ''[i]Help! Help me!'' screamed another voice. Terra realised, I'm not alone!. He ran blindly through the fog, he barely knew where he was going. The gas had muffled his scent aswell. Terra could only smell one thing. Death. The horrible scent filled his whole body, but still he ran. The mud sloshed around his feet, making it uncomfortable to run, but this still did not stop him. Terra felt something block his paws, but it was too late. The Tracker dog tripped up, landing face-first into the mud. He got up and shook himself, getting rid of only a tiny part of the muck that was already drying onto his coat. Terra stopped to see what he tripped over. It was a human. He looked young, though had a long scar across his right cheek. His hair was short, but the back on his head was stained red from the blood. The young man's eyes lay open, staring into nothing. Terra whimpered sadly. He rolled the man over onto his back to reveal a muddy, but functioning, telephone. A voice was rining from it: ''Private Smith?'' It asked. Terra barked in reply. The telephone began to crackle...: ''Priv..... ith? We're.... eaking up!'' It called, Breaking up? Terra thought. He sniffed at the telephone but it had stopped working.
''Help!'' The voice came again. It seemed to be choking. Terra barked again and carried on running, leaving the other man behind. He reached a tiny, cramped room at the end of the trench. He could spot afew beds, and other things too, but what shocked Terra as he walked in was at least 10 men were lying on the floor, huddled together. The life seemed to be sucked out of them though only 3 were still alive. They each had a sort of mask on their faces. Terra walked across the room, the gas seemed to be thinning out now, but it was still very dangerous. He walked up to one of the soldiers. He was in the corner, hugging his legs, shivering and rocking slightly. His eyes were firmly shut. Terra nudged him gently on the arm. The soldier opened one eye. He pulled out an arm that was completely caked in mud. He patted Terra gently on the head. Terra pushed his head under the man's arm and attempted to push him up. The two other people were crawling over and Terra helped them up. The eldest of the men had black hair that was beginning to grey, and his brown eyes seemed kind and caring. He reached over to Terra's back and picked up a telephone...
Terra jumped. He opened an eye. He wasn't in the trenches anymore. His ears twitched. He opened the other eye and sat up. A woman walked into the room with a black, rope lead. Terra got up and allowed the woman to put the rope lead over his head and ears then they walked outside. It took a while for him to realise where he was again. It was just a dream! Terra thought. I'm not really in the tranches in World War Two! He barked, quite happily actually. It wasnt real! It was just a dream! Terra wagged his tail and made his way along the road.
The handler stopped in her tracks, ''That's wierd.'' she spoke out loud. Terra looked up at her, then followed her gaze. She was staring and some gates set up along the road. He could see several brown caps bobbing along the road. Terra barked and ran towards the gates, dragging his handler after him. Several dogs were marching in perfect time to their handlers, each had black vests on their backs. Just like I had in my dream! Terra's tail was wagging crazily. The dogs had 'K9 unit 12' written along the vests. Terra gazed longingly at the soldiers and their dogs, and wished that one day, that would be him.
