{Rules}

• Treat others the way you want to be treated.
• No negativity, whining, begging, complaining, arguing or bribing.
• No spam. Anything that is not a wooing form, a custom/MAL form, or a question that is not answered on the front page is spam.
• You may use any character you like for wooing- as long as they belong to you.
• No stealing Ahzenai, or claiming that you created them.
• You may not sell your Ahzenai. Return them here if you no longer want them.
• Ahzenai may NOT be your fursona, your fursona's mate, or any family member to your 'Sona.
• Do NOT ask to be a staff member.
• Do NOT ask when customs will open, or when judging will be.
• If you're confused about something, let Onyx or a mod know THROUGH PM.
• We operate on a 3 strike system. If you break a rule you will get a strike! 3 strikes and you will be banned for a period of time to be determined by the Admins. Any staff member can warn you or issue a strike. A strike will disappear after 1-3 weeks.

• Ahzenai are roughly the size of ligers. Valcyon is even bigger. 8D
• These are the elements of Ahzenai: Liquid, Matter, Plasma, Gas, and No element.
• Elements cannot mix.
• Ahzenai have two types of horns: Curled and Straight.
• They are omnivorous.
• When they are 'born' from the vortex they already have a name. They emerge fully grown from the vortex.
• Ahzenai DO NOT wear accessories.
• Ahzenai DO NOT and CAN NOT breed. They cannot have offspring. They CAN feel the emotion of love. They can have 'mates' but there is no breeding involved.
• If an Ahzenai chooses to stay in Ahzen, they will live forever unless killed off. An Ahzenai who chooses a companion will die when their companion dies. Their energy is then sent back to the vortex, where a new Ahzenai is born. This new Ahzenai may take on personality traits of the Ahz it once was, but will not remember any specifics. It is not possible for an Ahz to remember anything from a past life.

Ahzenai Dictionary
Ahz: An abbreviation of Ahzenai. Often used casually in the thread and mostly by Onyx.
Custom Set Auction: An auction in which the prize is a brand new Ahzenai is created on all types of available lines. Does not use a MLV.
MAL: Mini Ahzenai Lines: An item that can be purchased from the shop to be used when MAL slots open to obtain a coloration on the MAL lines of an already existing Ahzenai. Costs 3 rares or Wishlist pets.
MLV: My Little Vortex: An item that can be purchased from the shop to be used when customs are open to obtain a custom Ahzenai. Costs 5 rares or Wishlist pets.
MLV Exchange: A blind swap where you offer a MLV that is already in your inventory for an Ahz that you do not get to see but get to read a description of. Are generally offered when there are new lines.
Set Auction: An auction in which one design is done on all available Ahzenai lines.

{Wooing Rules}
- Put some effort into your woo. The minimum requirement for a woo is 2 paragraphs.
- Do NOT control the Ahzenai you are trying to woo. Woos are like a Role-Play, you cannot control characters that are not yours.
- Be sure to read the Intro story of the Ahzenai, it will tell you what that Ahzenai is like.
- You can buy 'extra' wooing items in the Shop. These will give you bonus 'slots' towards your woo. If you don't successfully woo the Ahzenai you were trying for, your item will be returned to you. If you win, you lose the item.
- You may use any sort of character to woo. However it must be an original creation of your own.
- Ahzenai do not always leave with a companion. Some will decide to remain in Ahzen. Sometimes they will reappear to look for a companion, other times they won't.

Woos are judged using a point- or slot- system. Depending on you how good and relevant your woo is you will get a set amount of slots. 8 slots for a well written and interesting woo, 5 slots for an average woo and 1 slot for a poorly written woo. Items can give you more slots based on what item you buy. When judging begins, all the slots are totaled and a number is generated out of that number to determine the winner.

Ex: 5 people have entered. Numbers are assigned to each person (1, 2, etc) Let's say each person scores a 5 on their woos. Now there is a total of 25 slots. Person 1 has slots 1-5, Person 2 has slots 6-10, etc. If Person 3 buys an item that increases their slots by 5 then they get slots 11-20, Person 4 will get slots 20-25 and Person 5 will get slots 26-30. The total of slots is now 30. A number will be randomly selected from those slots. Grammar and length do not affect your score too much, but make sure the judge can read what you're writing.

Information for our staff to use.

FAQ:

• If you have artistic priviledges here, then you are free to open custom or MAL slots or design vortex Ahz whenever you like.
• If you design some vortex Ahz and desire for them to be released as exchange or in pairs then when submitting them to me, let me know a keyword so that others know they are to be together.
• As of now you cannot auction off a lineart set design. I still have to work out how the payment would work.
• You can have an Ahz appear/return to Ahzen at the same time as another staff member, but you have to be able to keep track of forms.
• Artists get paid 5 rares for each custom they do and 2 rares for each MAL order. You don't get paid for premades. ;D
• Payment will be sent out after you post the customs/MALs.
• Customs/MALs do not have to be sent to me to be put in the PB, you can post them on the thread and I'll get them that way.
• Premade Ahz DO have to be sent to me before they are put up in the thread.
• If you put up an Ahz you can either have one of our writers come up with the intro, or you can write it yourself. You may also have the writer write the acceptance post as well, but you must give them at least a 24 hour heads-up.
