Name: Kyarro
Species: Cafo
Personality: Kyarro, being a young Cafo, loves the company of adults of his species. However, he is extremely cautious when 'investigating' any other kind of animal. This being said, Kyarro's personality tends to change depending on what kind of animal he is around. When he is around other Cafo, he is curious to the point of being obnoxious. He often winds up in some sticky situations, getting stuck in trees or falling into streams. While the other Cafo are getting tired of rescuing him from all his many perils, they still can't help but admire his spirit, and how getting into trouble numerous times does not seem to dull his sense of adventure. When he is around other animals that he believes he is superior to, he will sometimes torture them, rearing up on his hind legs (making him extremely tall) and growling. When this fails to scare off his target (though it usually doesn't), he lunges forward as if he is about to give chase. When he is around larger animals that make him feel inferior, he prefers not to make any interaction at all. He will make himself scarce in the bushes, which can be a bit difficult because of his size, and wait until the animal passes. Kyarro will wait as long as he needs to, sometimes staying in the same place for hours on end until the larger creature moves on.
Likes: Kyarro loves the forest, especially right after it rains. The earthy smells and dampness of the air make him feel right at home. He will spend hours alone in the forest, climbing trees, fishing in rivers, or simply lounging on sun-warmed rocks. He will even leave the village at night and go wandering through the trees.
Kyarro has been taking riding lessons, and has recently mastered the art of riding a Keizat. He enjoys this thoroughly, and loves flaunting his skill to the other Cafo of his age. He is significantly better at riding than the other Cafo, and tends to rub it in so much that most of the other Cafo have grown tired of him and will pretend to listen when they are really doing something else.
Kyarro also likes spending time around his village, popping his head into his friends' dwellings to say hello. He enjoys exploring the abandoned dwellings around the outskirts of the village, and sometimes scavenging possessions from the homes of the deceased Cafo.
Dislikes: Kyarro absolutely hates the royal Cafo back on his home planet, Meteor Planet. He once lived on Meteor Planet, but after breaking the law and outright defying the royal Cafo, he was 'exiled' to Earth. He really doesn't mind the Earth as much as the royals expected him to. However, Meteor Planet is where he was born, and so he harbors extreme rancor for the ruling family of Cafo for sending him away. He never seems to blame himself for his mistake, however.
Background: Kyarro bounced happily along the main pathway that led through his village.
Today's going to be a great day! I just know it! He did a little dance of glee, jumping into the air and contorting his body in an expert manner. He let out a little squeak as he hit the ground a second sooner than he had expected. Several heads poked out of the dwellings that lined the path. Apparently his 'little' squeak had been a bit louder than he thought. He smiled sheepishly and apologized quickly before continuing on his way.

All the references to Meteor Planet and other stuff is actually drawn from a PM Shades sent me about the Cafo species. They're all facts straight from the creator of Cafo! ^^
