Just curious when is judging?

Leah was a lonely kid. She was sent to a boardig school by her parets, and lived there for 5 years. She saw a chance and escaped one night. Leah has since lived alone, knowing she couldn't go back to her parents, and definitley not the school.

So Leah took what little pride and courage she had left to live in the park. She it to make a lot o humans friends. But one day, the dream of her life came true. Leah met a big brown dog. She named him Cocoa, and he stuck around her always.

One day, a guy with a gun and a black mask came into the city. Leah had seen the report on the morning news from a television inside of a nearby motel. That night, she layed on the same bench, Cocoa by her side.

Leah was awakened by a deep and threatening voice. She opened her eyes and saw the man with the gun. She screamed, and Cocoa rammed the guy. He shot, and hit Cocoa. But by then, Cocoa had snapped his arm and leg. Cocoa fell. Leah cried her eyes out, but she knew she had to leave.

Leah spent a week wandering, alone once more. She came upon the Mage house, and saw the wonderul creatures. She greeted some, then came up to one in particular. A female named Adele.

Leah smiled. She felt this one needed a friend, and she thought she could be it. Leah sat in front of Adele and told her the story of her past. She included every detail about the boarding school, the park and her time alone.

Leah looked around. She whispered to Adele,"I know how you feel. No one really likes me either. It feels like I'm invisible." She straightened as a man said,"Time to go."

Leah sighed. She pat Adele's head and gave her a friendly smile. Leah then stood and walked to the door. She looked back at Adele, waiting for her reaction.
