History/Background: one day a cute baby was born they named him Shippo. he was born with an amazing rainbow marking on his leg.All the pack envied his beauty excpt for the pack leader Scar. one day Shippos father died so he was trained to be a hunter for the pack. Time passed and he eventually became the pack leader.He met a beautiful pure white wolf named white dove. thyey had pups and they were all the most beautiful pups in the woods....♥

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:
Alright, so I was browsing through all of these gorgeous designs, with no intention of adopting, because of my unfinished character page.
Then, I stumbled across this little guy. My brain did a flip, and I think it yelled something along the lines of "Dodododod!" but I'm not quite sure.
Anyways, I loooooove dodos. But I'm too lazy to haven't though of making my own, yet. So, upon seeing this Dodo here, I thought, why not adopt instead of making my own? His design is adorable, very natural, and the bracelet is a cute touch.
I was hoping to perhaps use him as my fursona's pet, as odd as that might sound (for reals, a cat with a pet dodo? Absurd!). I mean honestly, who wouldn't want a pet dodo? Of course, he would get his own personality and character - he would be roleplayed alongside my fursona, but he would be used for comedic effect.
Honestly I couldn't see myself roleplaying him as his own character. It would be terribly hard to roleplay a dodo without a larger creature to protect it. Unless I happened to stumble across some kind of "Dodo Island" roleplay.
Which wouldn't be a bad idea, hm.
Personality: Derpy isn't the brightest of creatures. Or at least, thats what he wants you to think. He seems to know enough to follow simple instructions, and often finds himself in the face of danger due to his stupidity. He has the attention span of a mentally challenged squirrel, so he tends to get lost. He's gullible, and pretty much nonreactive to anything that passes him by.
But hidden beneath this mask of stupidity is a brilliant philosopher, a genius. He'll put on his monocle an bowtie and sit around with the other geniuses of his time, philosophizing about the things that even human brains couldn't grasp. All without Kitteh noticing at all. She just thinks that he's hiding or sleeping.
Likes: Peanuts, Insects, animals smaller than himself, clouds, things other cannot grasp
Dislikes: Storms, violence, predators, being hungry
History/Background: Born of the DNA of the very last Dodo in existence. Derpy started out in a test tube, growing into a strong young Dodo. Originally, he literally was as stupid as he now just plays to be. But, with lots of experimenting and chemicals, his brain grew rapidly. At first, the growth was obvious. But then, he just appeared to decline back to his original state. But that was all part of the plan.
They donated him to a local zoo, believing that he was just an average Dodo, and that they had failed at making him an intelligent being. But they were so very wrong. He escaped while on the ride there, causing a major car accident in the process involving ten cars and a buss. He ran to nearby suburb, and that's where he met Kitteh.
A large and hungry dog had found Derpy - although he was smart enough to make a good escape plan, his small legs couldn't carry him fast enough away. Kitteh happened to be returning from a stroll, and she valiantly fought the dog, managing to drive him off. Derpy saw an advantage in this - although Kitteh was small, she could obviously protect him in this small collection of houses, and he would be content staying there. So he followed her home, & she dubbed him Derpy because of his "obvious stupidity". She shared her kills with him, even found him some fruit sometimes. & They've been living this way ever since. He's manipulating her for food and protection, really, but she perceives this as affection (sounds a lot like me and my cat xP).
Art: I wish I could, but no tablet pen ;o; I'll get my pen back in November, if you'd be willing to wait that long.
Other: I know that the form says "May not be fursona, fursona's mate, etc", but would it be okay if he was my fursona's 'pet' of the sorts? Or perhaps we could refer to my fursona as his guardian? I donno, either way x)

Some information about Xenotechs:
Xenotechs are a small alien species. They look similar to Earth's canines and are about the size of a housecat. They have many little glowing bulbs all over their bodies which shine especially brightly when they are happy or interested. A Xenotech with dull bulbs is unhappy or sick. Their diet consists only of information. Because of this, they are constantly on the hunt for new information from around the universe. They often send teams on expeditions to other planets to learn and bring back delicious new info to devour.

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:
Why do I want Qwerty here? That is a really good question. I suppose the simple answer is just because he appeals to me. I remember when I first saw him: I was just skimming the lists of characters, seeing if anything would catch my eye, when he popped out at me. He's so wacky and yet so adorable- from that first sight, I knew I had to have him.

I'll be the first to admit that I can lose interest in a character after that first honeymoon period of ownership, but I first saw Qwerty over a month ago and he's been running through my head ever since. I've been doodling him during French class and mulling over his personality, and now I'm finally ready to tell you his story. I think that fact alone, that I'm coming back to finish this application, shows that I will be dedicated to Qwerty.

I love to order art of my characters (since I'm not a great artist myself) and I can assure you that he'll will get plenty of attention in that department. I also love to write. Qwerty would be featured in many stories; I have a lot of ideas for him. It was a lot of fun coming up with characteristics for his species and I'm really looking forward to playing around with him in the future. C:

Personality:
Quirky- He is a very unusual creature, but after all, he is an alien. He is amused by the strangest things, such as ping pong (he calls it "miniature tennis") and Jello. One of his greatest dreams is to get a trench coat for himself, but unfortunately we haven't been able to find one in his size. He is also fascinated by stereotypical British things like tea and crumpets, so you may come across him curled up in front of a computer wearing a monocle and tapping away.

Brave- You might not realize it, but it takes a lot of courage to leave your homeworld and travel to a foreign planet. He did just that by leaving his home (which he says translates to "The Big Sparkle") and coming to Earth. Most of the time he seems merely curious to a human, but in fact he is incredibly bold. Everything about Earth is new (and potentially dangerous) to him, yet he will investigate anything. The old adage says that curiosity killed the cat; hopefully it doesn't hold true for little aliens, eh?

Loyal- One of the few times he is obviously brave is when he protecting someone he loves. If something or someone threatens his friends, he will do anything he can to defend them. This trait can get him in trouble because he doesn't always understand how things work here on Earth, but it does make him an amazing friend.

Voracious- He is always hungry, but he doesn't eat food (besides pudding and grape soda). He lives on information; it's both his sustenance and his drug. He becomes intensely cranky and easily angered when he is deprived of new information, so it's best to keep him around the internet or at least a dictionary.

Smart- Of course, with all the information he consumes, it's no wonder he's very smart. He loves math and science, and is especially attracted to computers and programming. Sometimes demonstrating an almost encyclopedic store of facts, he loves to work on and solve problems. However, one of his flaws is that his knowledge is erudite; he often lacks what we might call "street smarts."

Childlike- Overall, Qwerty is best described as having the personality of a precocious child. He is at times both devastatingly innocent and wise beyond his years, demonstrating that unnerving tendency of children to speak the truths we adults are too blind to see. Like a child, he sometimes needs to be guided through new experiences and information, or else he becomes lost. He tends to see the world in black and white, but occasionally he will point out the shade of grey you never would have seen otherwise.


Likes:
Sparkly objects- They remind him of his homeworld, The Big Sparkle.
Tea, crumpets, fantastic mustaches, and monocles- Having been first introduced to Earth through the internet, he became fascinated by the British stereotypes he encountered there.
Trench coats- "They're so swooshy!"
Computers- They were the first thing he encountered on Earth, and he's been obsessed with them ever since.
Pudding and grape soda- The only "traditional" foods he'll eat.
Information- He lives off it.
Memes and the internet in general- The first thing he met on Earth, and an endless source of entertainment.
Jello- Not to eat, but just to play with.

Dislikes:
Cows- He had a very bad first experience with a cow and he has been terrified of them ever since.
Complete darkness- His homeworld is never dark because of the glowing lights on the bodies of his species, and it is terrifying to him to be completely without light.
Threatening people- He hates bullies and people who threaten those he loves.
Linoleum- He just hates the texture of it under his feet.
Ignorance- He absolutely despises not knowing about things and can't understand why some people are happy living that way.
Guns- They're loud and make it very easy to hurt people, both of which are things he doesn't like.

History/Background:
a life in snapshots-
He steps into the hub, bulbs gleaming brightly.
Behind him, a pair of adults look at him with flickering bulbs, their faces twisted with worried pride. They know this may be the last time they ever see him; expeditions do not always end well. As the glass dome closes over him, he turns for one last look at what he's leaving behind. The crystals littering the landscape gleam with the reflected light of thousands of bulbs, and the flickering, fractured luminescence reassures him. He drinks in this view, his home, one last time before there is a loud beep and he dissolves.

History/Background:when he was pup he lived with a ritch person,his father died and his mother was sold,he got in a fight with another wolf/dog and rected a mans sale table the ritch person had to give up Biohazard in return for recting the mans stand.The man was very mean and trained Biohazard everything the wrong way,he tought him to kill other dogs,then one day Biohazard and his master bumped into the wrong dog and Biohazard got hert another man came in and took Biohazard and ran off he took care of him but the man grew old and couldn't take care of him anymore so i took him in...
