Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: -Why: I wish to have Royal because he reminds me so much of one of my friends for some reason, and the fact that he seems to have been forgotten and ignored this whole time, and I know how that feels. He also reminds me of many other things, as well as myself, so I guess you could say I feel connected with a character such as Royal.
-What I will do: I will forever love him, and he will always be very close to my heart. I will draw lots of art of him, alone and with my other characters so he shall not be lonely any more.
Personality:Sweet: Royal is very sweet and caring, if you can get through to him. If you are gentle and patient enough to earn his trust, you'll be sure to have a friend that will not ever leave your side.
Shy: Unless he has a reason to talk or something important to say, Royal will not speak. He keeps to himself, and you'll know when he trusts you, because he actually begins to come out of his shell a bit when you're around.
Tricky: Sometimes Royal acts very different than other times, defensive and distant, or perhaps gentle and kind, it depends on how he's treated. Others often say that he's very hard to figure out, because his personality seems to swing a bit every so often, but if you get to know him well neough, yo can get to know the signs and avoid that.
Playful: Despite his laid back, silent demeanor, Royal is also very playful. In fact, having fun is one of the things he knows best.
Dependable: If you've got his back, he'll have yours for sure. You can bet he'll do anything to protect those that have tried hard enough to get to know him and have won his heart, those who mean a lot to him.
Trustworthy: Royal is very honest and tries his best to not ever break his promises unless he has a very good reason to. His trust, on the other hand, is easily broken, so you have to be careful how you act.
Likes: - Royal loves:
. kindness- A little kindness goes a long way, something Royal knows all too well.
. Honesty- "What is a world without honesty? Somewhere you can't trust for anyone to keep their promises. Surely it would end in disaster."
. The forest- Royal hasn't exactly figured out why he likes the forest, other than the fact that it's the one place he feels calm and safe, despite his difficult experiences in the past, some of which happened in the forest
. Music- music helps him express himself, although he's not much of a singer around others. He may sing to himself, but in front of even a few friends, no way.
. Storms: they comfort him for some reason, although to most others it seemed like it was their worst fear ever. He's just different like that
. Water- he's a natural born swimmer, a lover of water of course
Dislikes: -Royal dislikes:
. Bullies: To royal, bullies are only others who think they are stronger than others, so decide to point it out and make it seem like a much worse thing if someone can't do it as well, but really, they are just trying to build themselves up so much that they think that no one can pull them back down.
. Fighting: fighting in general upsets Royal, because he doesn't like seeming others hurt or upset because of another. He'd rather everyone just find a way to get along, and try his hardest to help solve a problem when one arises, before a fight can break out.
. Feeling unloved: He seems to have been ignored and unloved for a long time, so obviously he'd want someone to take away his loneliness and sorrow.
. Fire- fire is one of the things that he believes is meant only to destroy things, but a small campfire or something doesn't bother him. In fact, often he wants nothing more than to curl up next to a fireplace and sleep.
Fears -Royal's fears:
. Death- for every single reason, obviously the same ones as anyone else in the world. After all, who in their right mind would want to be dead and never be able to be with the ones who truly made you happy?
. Losing those who are dear to him- Same as death, since what good is life and happiness if you've lost the reasons that you love things, and the ones that make everything worth it. Besides, he's already had to say goodbye too many times before.
. Heights- One of those things that he just can't stand, no real specific reasons why.
History/Background:Royal was born into a small pack, his siblings all stronger than him and him being considered the runt. But for some reason luck decided to chose only him when, one disaster after another, he somehow avoided death. His siblings and family, though, were not so lucky. A forest fire had taken some of them, others sickness, the last remaining ones by hunters or predators. His older twin sister had been killed right before his eyes by a hawk, which tried to go after him as well, but he miraculously escaped by falling into a small underground tunnel.
His second pack was a larger sized pack, but again, disaster seemed to follow him like a murderous thunder cloud. Barely months after he'd been accepted into it, and had begun to crush on a beautiful young fea, danger struck once again, rearing it's head towards him. A hunter attack made him get separated from the rest of the pack, and he was never able to find them again. Heartbroken, he trudged off alone, shell-shocked and guilty, blaming it all on himself.
Sooner of later, though, he found a small forest land to call his own, and is where he currently is. He stays there alone, somewhat afraid to join another pack because of what had happened to the last two.
