Any questions: What does PPS on a pet mean? I adopted my first pet from the pound and I noticed a kitten there with PPS on it.. you must think I am nuts or something xD

PPS stands for Peter Pan Syndrome, and it means that the pet will never grow up, it'll stay a cute puppy/kitten/foal/etc. forever. There isn't really anything different about them, from a collectors point of view, they are just another outcome of a litter^^.

Otherwise, you just have to be patient. If trading doesn't suit you, you can go over to the Art Competitions, Pets for Art/Art for Pets board, CS Trades board, CS Free Adoptions board, CS Auctions board, or the Oekaki competitions.

Any questions: is there a limit to # of pets you can have? Do people usually adopt 5 or more of the same newborn or no? I only adopted 2 of some

Welcome to CS then! And to indigoangel's question, yes, you can only adopt a few newborns, wether its Owl/Spider/etc.
