She more or less became a loner by the time she was two. She, after being chased into a river by a pack of coyotes, discovered she had an affinity for water. She could bend it to her will. She used this new discovery to wipe out those who had ridiculed her in her former herd

Pony's Epic Story:

It's not easy being me. Having all the power you could need but no one to see you as an equal.

My story beings a long time ago, a time when the humans had jut learnt to tame the wild horses. I was born to a wild her of average horses. From the moment I was born and they knew who I was, they treated be different, they treated me as a lord and not as a friend. I never knew I was an elemental pony untill I was a yearling, my mother wished for me to live as normal as possible till my powers came in. On the day I turned one I realized why they treated me as they always had. Water seemed to whisper in my ears and obey my command. The very next day a huge mare came to our herd and took me, with her with her were three others who I didn't care to know. The mare was none other than Arwen, mother of all horses. She trained us, the new elemental ponies to watch over and guard all horses. She taught us to use our gifts and how defend and soon we were turned loose to defend our world. I didn't want this life for myself, I wasnt like the others so instead of taking my place, I hid my power and became a normal horse. Still others did not understand or so I thought. A girl was sitting on a hillock under a tree reading a book. We soon grew to be friends and she treated me as an unruly colt and a friend. She taught me to have pride and confidence. I will one day return to my post but till then I will continue to learn and grow.

He never knew his family or if he even had one. He took up the name Moss after the low soft plants that grew everywhere in his home. His only friends were the forest animals.
