I think the designs are very pretty. If you have problems with the lines showing through, just use the layering. It's a layering platte that you can use so then the lines don't overlap. Lock Alpha is really handy when coloring, I just found that out and it's amazeing! Just a little help, hint or whatever people call this... Does this seem rude? Because I was like trying to help out this other person and they mainly said that I was rude.
