Kennel Number: 19
Name: Cedric
Gender: male
Species wolf
What do you plan to use this adoption for: i plan to draw him, write stories of him and maybe use him as a fursona.
Personality: a shy and loving wolf but he hates it when he or his close friends are being mistreaded. he is willing to fight for what he believes in even though he is not sure of himself. Somethimes he tries to say something to someone but backs down on the last minute.
Background: "Cedric!" his mother called.
"coming, mom!" he howled back.
Cedric turned around for one last look at the creek he had spent his lonely days there. After he lost Kitsu (male) to the great fire, he was all alone and sad as he remembered the things they did together. He nudged his head past the tangle of bushed and quickly ran, paws thumping across the loose dirt. He coughed every so often, just get the flying dust out of his hard working lungs. Finally, his aching paws reached soft grass. He slowed his pace to a walk and began trekking to his den with his mother waiting patiently. When he reached the den, he was astonished to see a pack of wild wolves to greet him. He glanced around, wondering what had happened to his mother.
"Cedric!" a familiar voice screamed.
"mom!" cedric rushed to follow his mother's voice as he worried about what trouble his mother was in .
But it was too late. Cedric scrambled to see his mother being beaten in a fight with what appeared the alpha male. He snarled at his mother and pounced at her neck. Cedric fled before he could see the Alpha male perform the killing bite. He ran until he reached an interesting smelling house.
"whats this? it looks like what mother called a house..." He thought.
Suddenly he began to cry at the thought of his mom. He lay down in the now damp grass and cried him self to sleep.

My favorite linearts are those that are not over-used and are hardly seen. The detailed ones that are lovely and display taste and personality. c: Most of the time this comes from dA lines. ^^

Kennel Number: #23
Name: Khnum
Gender: Male
Species Celestial Lion (Basically like a god. ;P)
What do you plan to use this adoption for: I have many a story in the works for one of my universes and in that universe I use many different lions as gods and goddess types who control or play a part in what goes on in the rest of the story. Kind of how the greek gods were known so well for interacting with mortals, same goes for my lions and their deities. :) I try to pick (if I even pick adoptions) lions who look like they'd fit the part and I had an idea of Khnum the moment I saw him. The blue flames-water on his paws just struck me as him being perfect for the role of a god. <3
Personality:Khnum is the god of protection and is responsible for bringing floods or rainfall. Like the water he can be very calm and relaxed, but in his anger he can call forth storms or cause terrible droughts across the land. The only ones who can temper his wrath are the smallest of his followers, cubs. Being the god of protection, Khnum cannot stand to see the suffering of children and he will often come to their aid if they call out to him. Many tales of Khnum using his boiling water-fire to sear the flesh of any who dare to harm cubs before him are spread throughout all of the prides in Tera'Chal. For this, most who believe in the gods do not dare beat or harm their children but instead use better ways of discipline, those who do not believe either get away with it, or die by his paws wishing they had listened to the elders in the temple dens.
Background: Khnum is the first born of twins, his sister Asenath being much like him in personality but nothing like him in appearance, neither look like their parents as goes with most gods and their children. He was set his tasks at a young age as was his sister, but she did not like the burden of responsibility and so was eventually silenced by their father who had no use for her from the moment she was born. Khnum, in his anger at the death of his close and free spirited sister, brought forth a wave of flames that killed both his mother and father as they slept. In doing so he took on the tasks that both of them were at one point responsible for. His father, the god of protection and his mother, the goddess of hearth and family. Hence his feelings towards child abusers.
After his sister's death (he cared little for his parents) Khnum decided that her birthday from now on would be marked by a heavy rainfall that would bring life to everything on Tera'Chal, the thirsty would not thirst, the vegetation would grow tall for the herd beast and so the carnivores would feed well in turn. All Tera Lions have celebrations on Asenath's birthday in honor of her and the gift her brother gives them each time that day comes.
Other: As you wished in the preferences I'm keeping the blue "flames" but since he is to be the god of protection/water and he was also called a "water lion" once, I would like to know if it's okay to keep them like flames (in appearance) but have them actually be water? :) If that's okay then that's the only OTHER thing I can think of right now. xD

Applefiend wrote:Just a mini poll sort of thing, but when looking for characters, what sort of character do you go for? I'm trying to get a feel for which kind of linearts I should look for when I revamp stuff.
I like art that gives off a wave off emotion and shows what the charrie is like in the scene, like a way of showing how much personality ranges from sad to happy. I think it help someone to understand them better without a personality sheet. Say if they are loners (meaning the people who like to be on their own, not as in wolves) they'll have their head down, and be away from everyone, on their own. If they like art, they might have a pencil and a drawing pad, of have paint on them. and ditto again. get it?

Kennel Number: Unknown
Name: Naomi
. Pleasant . Beautiful . Agreeable .
Gender: Feminine . Female
Species Anthro Canine . Fox X Wolf
Why you want Naomi and what do you plan to use this adoption for:
I applied for the most beautiful amazing character at the Agency. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw her. She was everything I'd wanted. Her eyes, and her design clicked with me immediately and I couldn't get enough. I loved her from first sight. But unfortunately, I sent out the PM for permission to Tripp too late and lost any chance I had at winning her. I was devastated to say the least. But then, Applefiend PM'd me about a similar design donated here. I doubted I would have the same connection. Honestly, I've never really clicked with any designs here that I wanted painstakingly bad, so my hopes were not high. I glanced around and saw nothing in the kennels, but then, I searched through the pages and found this amazing . wonderful . perfect . donation and my heart nearly burst. <3 She's everything I was hoping for with the last donation, and honestly, more. I cannot thank Applefiend enough for directing me here :') I would probably have never found this little girlie. ^^ She fits right into my story I had started to create with Iris, and pops into the personality even better than before. It is the same history and personality I'd used to try to win Iris at the Agency, but believe me, she fits the role so much nicer than I'd imagined. Thank you so much for letting me apply <3
Personality:
Naomi was found bipolar at eighteen, the age of evaluation, or adulthood. Most probably a result of her mother being a fallen angel and her father being the ruler of Hell. Though Naomi only feels passionate anger vibes when her father is around, she never feels angelic around her mother. Just what she would feel if she didn't have the condition.
.Angelic side.
A.ffectionate
Naomi feels very deeply for those in pain, or those hurting or confused. She will do anything she can to care for them, to make them feel alright. She will go to the edge of time to try to save someone she loves or cares deeply for. When no one is in danger, she will flirt and happily tend to other's favors asked of her. And she doesn't mind a bit. She develops a sort of love towards everyone she meets, making her a very friendly person. If you have only seen Naomi's affectionate side, you can make friends with her easily. She is a very aggreable person. Though some find it hard to keep up a good relationship with someone who, when in a bad "mood", could push them off the edge of a cliff, when happy she is a very likable anthro.
N.ervous
Naomi can't help but be overprotective. If she's not, all she does is worry, and she can't stay still. She always thinks of others first and foremost. She's constantly obsessed over whether or not her friends are alright. She couldn't stand for anyone she knows getting hurt - she'd die from grief alone. So she takes the initiative to stay nervous for others' well being.
G.entle
When she's not under Satan's control, Naomi has a very soft hand. She will never hit or hurt anyone, and if she is hit in any way, or hurt, she won't even try to defend herself. She can get very shy and sweet when she's not in a "bad mood," as her fellow demons call it. She will always think of others before herself, and cannot think of anything better to do with her time except make others feel accepted and important. When she's happy, Naomi can't even kill a bug. She deems them innocent, and misunderstood, just like every other unliked anthro in Hell, or earth. She could never even scratch a soul. If an animal is mistreated in any way, (or an anthro), she will fix them up right away. She's alright with medical types of things.
E.ncouraging
If you are having a bad day, or are off your high horse and in a depressive state, Naomi is the one to go to. She always has the best advice, and knocks your spirits as high as the clouds, encouraging you to press on. She says that you can't quit on something you can't go a day without thinking about. Naomi is like life's cheerleader. She makes you feel as though you are the star of the show, even if she can't always say the same for her /nervous/ self, she always perks spirits. She makes you feel as if you have a place in the world, as if your actions have a meaning. She makes you feel loved.
L.oyal
If she likes you and you are not her father, Naomi could not turn on you for anything. She has a severe protective side, and if you ask her to do something, she does it the first time. As stated before, she will defend another with her life, at all costs. She could not think of anything worse than having someone die at her default, and considering death is not uncommon, she protects others left and right. She can't let someone go anywhere unprepared or without proper gear, meaning that if she loves you well enough you can't leave without her period. She will never let you alone if you are fragile. She could never let anything hurt you, or anyone, ever again.
She would not make the mistake again that she'd made once before.
.Demonic Side.
D.angerous
If Naomi isn't "feeling well" for a day /or two, etc./ it's probably best to steer clear for a while. She's actually murdered on whim before. She's regretted it ever since. She is really a bomb on the verge of explosion when her dad is around, which is not good for either her or the opposite side. Bad attitude is the least of her problems when Satan is with her. She is constantly thinking awful thoughts. Thoughts that include everything her father had taught her. She is not pleasant to be around, so she takes initiative to warn people about her "moods" when her head is on straight. She is avoided during those days.
E.vil
Naomi can't help but be evil when her father is near. She does everything she can that is against all of the rules, breaking everyone's hearts and playing other people. Teasing the ones being eaten in the hole of Hell. Her father is usually impressed, especially when she takes it too far. Her most terrifying moment was when she pushed an accepted demon into the fires. Satan could have never been more proud. Sickening, to most. Exciting to some.
M.iserable
There is not one second, not a second at all that Naomi doesn't feel deeply grieved when she's with Satan. Often when she's somewhat "sane" she tries to descover ways around this terrible feeling, but so far all attemps had resulted in failure. Not much can be done in the meantime, though. Naomi is not aware of this feeling until she awakes from her visits to misery. It only depresses her more to know she felt that way, though. Naomi believes her misery is the vibe from Satan, which is why she feels that terrible feeling and as a result, why she acts out. Which, in fact, is why she tries to think of ways to fix it. Sadly, nothing can really be done.
O.utspoken
There is not a word unsaid between Naomi and her father when she's in the meaningless state. If she has an opinion, nearly always one that involves hurting another, she will state it. Usually it is agreeable by her father, but sometimes he must disagree with her choices, in which time she threatens him. In that sense, Naomi can be very stupid. Luckily Satan takes it as humor, bad humor, so she gets out of trouble /not that she's ever really out of trouble/. Being the Devil's daughter and all, you have to get special treatment. She's despised by most the other 'of age' demons.
N.ot trustworthy
It should be pretty obvious to never tell Naomi an important secret when she's "upset," but some dumb anthros never get the message. It is probably not as obvious that even when sane she's a risk. Even when her moods change, it's not as though she just forgets everything as soon as she's gotten angry. When she feels that way, she does everything in her own possible grasp to make others feel the misery she does. So, you should not spill anything over important to Naomi, because there is always a risk.
Background:
The day of my evaluation, I knew I was going to be accepted.
He had to let me in. In exchange for my captive mother, I was not to be executed or murdered. Of course he was never fair. But... He had made a deal. Her life in exchange for mine.
I stepped up behind the other demons to be. There were six of us, seven including me. There were constantly demons joining this place, this wretched awful place, torturing others and being destroyed. It was either this life, or the end of life. Possibly being murdered would've been better, but when you turned eighteen you were "of age," and that was just too young to make the choice to die.
I hated it there. The others [ two girls and four boys] loved it. They had been taught no other way, had known no way out. They had been treated like villians, had been created to destroy people, mind, soul, and body. Not me, I despised this. But it was probably because I knew the way out.
I'd been too scared to leave that day. I had been sixth in line, only one boy behind me, who looked even more terrified than I was. When I stepped into the room, there were two crying boys on the left side of the room, and both girls and one boy on the right who seemed solemn. It was obvious who had passed the evaluation, who was going to live, and who had not passed, those who did not have the opportunity. I found this surprising. He favored the boys, yet it was only boys who had failed, who were going to be killed.
To be next scared my wits out. But I saw him yet again, face to face. He was beautiful, gorgeous, lovely. He was the most cunning sight to ever be seen. But he was a fake. His whole goal was to trick people into thinking he was amazing and stunning, when his heart was decayed and disgusting. He held no feelings. I turned my head down when I stepped in front of him, the passed demons staring with curiosity, whispering petty little comments.
"She gets it special."
"You know he has no sence of trust."
"Either do we. Yet he is respectful when needed."
"She'll make it. Just watch."
"How could he turn her down after-"
"Enough." The melody of his harsh voice was still lovely, even in it's worst hour. Then he turned his empty, but still beautiful eyes to me. "Good evening, Naomi."
I still stared at the ground. "Good evening, my lord."
"If you are too scared to face me, you are not cut out for this, my dear."
If I was challenged, it always struck a nerve inside of me. I stared up at him. "I have no fear of you, Lord."
"But you should," he insisted. "I can do terrible things for you."
"Like you did to my mother?" I challenged. "I would care not if you sent me with them." I flicked my tail towards the boys mourning for their lives.
"Would you, now?" he considered. "I suppose I should send you there."
"Do as you wish," I said carelessly. "But you know I would be of much use to you. And you vowed to never break your promise."
"Why hold a promise to a broken angel?" he laughed. The beauty of his voice mesmerized all. All but me. I was half immune, half intruiged. "But you are right. You are of use. And I know you would serve me well." I held my head high.
"Alright," he nodded. "You are accepted."
I felt a sharp pain in my shoulders, and I moved one around. My demon mark had formed - two white angel wings.
"Wings, my Lord?" I asked.
"You know exactly why," he stated clearly.
I nodded my appreciation, and moved towards the group away from him, no matter how badly I thought I wanted to be with the dead men. I knew I had to stay though, to save my mother, the broken angel. He had dragged her soul with him when he fell. So I stayed, and I walked away.
I walked away from my father.
Beautiful. Lovely. Decieptful.
The Devil himself.

We were standing on the edge of the hole that plummeted to the depths of Hell. Time for our first assignment as official demons.
The boy behind me had made it, after much arguing. Satan had agreed to let him in as a demon if he would be loyal at all costs. He had said yes. I'd learned all their names during the time I'd stood with them. The boy who was to stay loyal (at all costs, we were all to stay loyal), his name was Danny. The blonde boy with us, his name was Stark. The teeny brunette girl's name was Lexi, and the tall, toned blonde's name was Dera.
Our first assignment was to push the other two boys who hadn't made it into Hell where they would be eaten alive by flames for eternity. They both looked terrified. Satan had chosen me and Danny to do the deed. I was terrified.
The first boy who had finished mourning stepped up to me, between me and the hole that would lead to his fate. "Go on," he said steadily. "I'm ready to die." My hands shook, and I pressed them to his chest. He wasn't breathing. He stared me down, and I was entranced. I stared back. We stood there for what must've seemed like forever. I couldn't push him. I wouldn't! I couldn't take a life to eternal damnation. But before I was about to walk away, I saw the look in his eyes, and he leaned backward, falling into his pit of fate.
This was when my bipolar signs first started to show. I stepped away from the hole, not sad, nor greiving that the boy had fell on his own. I was angry - angry that he had done what deed I had been assigned to do, by my own father!
Then Danny and the other shaking, terrified male anthro stepped into place. "I'm so so sorry," Danny whispered. "But it's you or me." The smaller anthro nodded, and closed his eyes, scared out of his wits. So Danny carefully took his wrists and dropped him into the pit of damnation. "I'm sorry," he whispered again to the falling, screaming body. The flames must've already started to eat him.
"Sorry?!" I exclaimed. "Sorry? Sorry that you murdered that piece of trash?" I growled and stepped up to the boy. "That's not what demons do." And so I then punched Danny in the stomach, and he fell into the hole that lead to Hell.
I turned to face the demons behind me. They all had wide mouths. I glared at them. "Who's next?" I muttered.
I heard clapping behind me. I spun around, ready to pounce, when I saw my father poof in from nowhere. I didn't stop glaring. "Quite a show, quite a show," he congratulated me. "That is what my demon daughter has been raised to do. I knew I let you through for a reason." He turned to the others. "Would any of you have tried that? I can tell lies, and I'll let her push every one of you in that denies the truth."
There was a hesitation, but they all shook their heads. "Quite," Satan said once more, and with a snap of his fingers, closed the gate to Hell's flames. "That'll be it for the day," he said. "Go on, all of you." He glanced to me, and then dissappeared.
As soon as he was gone, the evil in me went with him. I gasped and shivered. Who was I?
