Species: Aqua lupus (Or water wolf in simpler terms.)
Personality: He is kind, cool, and caring. He is very intelligent, speaks his mind (While trying not to offend others), and it is VERY hard to anger him; but if you do, watch out! He is not very shy, and has no problems with going up and talking to a stranger (Or protecting one for that matter.) He lives to protect the weak and his loved ones, and once you get close to him, you'll have a dependable friend for life.
Likes Water, sunny days, sunsets, peace, being loved, protecting others, virtue, bravery, swimming, eating fish (It's his favorite food!), and the ocean.
Dislikes: unnecessary violence, hurting his loved ones, someone else hurting his loved ones, bullies, hatred, and foul language.
Background (Optional, but it gives you a better shot): His Parents were the betas of his pack, well loved by the other pack members. They raised him well, teaching him that violence is almost never the answer, and that kindness and a heart for problem solving was the answer to all problems. Kingfisher grew up in the pack, treating all levels, from alpha to omega, equally. He was often the one who defended lower ranking pack members from being bullied by higher-ranking wolves. He lived on in the pack in peace, untill tragedy struck. One of the neighboring packs, jealous of the pack’s large territory and fertile hunting grounds attacked the pack. Since the neighboring pack knew that they would be out-numbered, they teamed up with other pack, which also wanted a piece of the pack lands, and even took on a few traitors to Kingfisher's pack. They all took the pack by surprise, and although Kingfisher's pack fought back valiantly, they were defeated. Kingfisher's parents were both killed in that bloody massacre, and once he saw their deaths, he ran away. He could not stand to see all the violence, blood, and betrayal, so he vowed that he would get stronger in order to protect those who need it, and to show everyone that violence can only lead to suffering. Other things about Kingfisher:since he is a water wolf, he has special powers. He can control water as he pleases and when he swims, for extra speed when needed (although he is already an awesome swimmer), his tail can turn into a fin (That kind of looks like a mermaid's tail) to propel him through the water. Kingfisher has large webbed paws that also are made for swimming. Strangely enough, he can actually transform into a human as well. It was a special genetic trait that occurs in every 60 generations of water wolves; although if a wolf is part of the generation that is prone for human transformation, that is not a guaranty that it will show up. It is a very elusive trait that is revered among water wolves, and is very rare.
