Crying in the Rain

Postby Klaora » Thu Aug 25, 2011 4:38 pm

Okay, I have seen umpteen pictures of wolves and other animals, usually head shots, crying in the rain or having a blue moon background with them recently. Seriously, there've been over ten this week alone.

So I made my own using a bucket of wolf tears I've collected over the week.

Let's get a bit more creative up in here. :3

And before it is said:
I have not art bashed nor have I said the drawings suck.
I have not said that people aren't allowed to draw what they please.
I am not making fun of anyone or claiming that I am better.
I'm not copying anyone's character or picture. I've just seen a lot like this lately.
If this is what your comment is about, please don't bother. ^^

Cue angry comments.

This is awesome! I agree that crying in the rain is a bit overused. ^^

@LakotaDragonDog: XDD The drawing or the point I'm making? 'Cause the drawing is FAR from cool. Look at those hands and those trees and that wolf. :B

@Infinite Karma: :3 Glad someone agrees. I was expecting a pretty big backlash for some reason. A point doesn't get made unless you make a big deal out of it. :P
While it's been over used for ages, I don't mind if I see one every week or so. But good grief, this week I've seen SO many. O.O Not all of them have the rain aspect and not all have the blue sky, but a lot of them have one or the other. XD
Methinks everyone's crying 'cause they have to go back to school. x3 I kid, I kid.

I see crying in the rain all the time.

If I were to do such a picture, I'd make it something more...unique.
Like you have here.
Instead of just rain, add something different to it. :3

And most people do it at night/storming/lightning, so on.
If I did one, it'd probably be in the morning light, in some really light, beautiful place.
Youknow, not what people expect from crying.

@InfiniteKarma: SO I WAS RIGHT! :B Hurr.

@Hachiko: That's an interesting idea. :D I'd love to see one with a really beautiful morning summer rain. Maybe even happy crying. Sounds lovely. :3

I agree. Theres a bit too much 'crying in the rain' pictures on CS.. its a bit old :/

I have never seen a happy wolf crying rainbow tears.. in marshmallows.. while dancing with candied jewles :D
Yay! Thank you for the inspiration, Hachiko and Klaora! <3
Noone steal this idea, please. >n<

Beautiful picture btw :3

Totally agree with you on this one. Although most of the drawings are beautiful, I admit, it still is quite overused. People could be a little more creative, but they are free to draw what they please. I don't usually draw too many wolves(as you can see from my fail wolf XD)but, yeah, it still is overused.(I draw mostly humans, and I few animals as customs.:3

Lovely pic, by the way. It's very humorous, you're a good artist. ^-^
