I'm a little confused about this art contest, do I just make a hound up or do I draw an already existing one with their owners permish?

My contest entry; Kao, the Snow mage. i really fell in love with him, and i am hoping, to win, since he is just my love. But if i don't win i'll be shore to get a costome of him.
Kao is a large Mage hound, he is only in his young teens. being born with a wite, furry coat and later it getting it's colors. Kao was a puppy no one liked, since he liked to make a mess and be outside a lot when it snowed. Being a large pup and having strong back legs so he is great at jumping.

She grinned at the crowd of humans, hoping for someone
to come an talk to her. She snorted a puff of smoke from her
nostrils while staring down at her paws while were quite
literally on fire. The female smiled slightly, but thought that
her fire might scare the humans away. Wagging her tail to
seem more friendly she sat and waited.

I slowly walk into the cave and glance around at all the hounds and she soon saw a flash of fire from the cornor of her eye and I smile and turn to look at her and then noticed Loicon say her name and she smiled "Tanna" she said softly and walked to her and gently pet the side of her head "I am Alex" she said softly and looked over the mage hound and took a step back feeling alittle of the heat "You are a bueat" I say and then giggled "I think now if I go campy i wont need to make a fire i can use you" and she pet her gently again "If you come home with me I will make sure you are like a family member"

Tanna looked a the humans that stood around her. One particular human interested her the most, "Loup Garou....I like that name." She smiled and tilted her head slightly, "You aren't intimidated by my fire," asked the Mage, eyes brightening. Taking the shoe she set in down on the ground carefully, "I do like you..." Tanna grinned and stood up, "I'll join you, Loup."
