The Land of Sentai

Welcome, traveler. I see you are tired. Why not come in? Rest for a while. This is Cup o' Pudding Adopts.

We live here, in the land of Sentai. Dense pine woods surround The Meadow. Sometimes Sentain creatures will wander into The Meadow, and that's where you come in. It's up to you to try and convince the animals to join you.

Here in Sentai, there are a few species willing to be your companion. There are even more species live here in Sentai, though, that are waiting to be discovered. Will you stay, and find a companion? Or will you continue your travels and leave this place?

The choice is yours.

Congratulations to the winners! Though there were many, many wonderful forms, I had to decide on these three. Each of them seemed to possess the knowledge of how and adoptable thread is supposed to run, and, reading through their posts and knowing them from other places, I knew they would be capable of teaching my rules and upholding them, yet could do it in a kind, relaxed manner. Our new mods will beeeee...*drumroll*

Discovered Creatures of Sentai

The Xenas
{ Zeen - ahhs } { Common }
These felines are bubbly, friendly creatures. They're very social, and have an intricate social community within their population. One of the most tamed creatures in Sentai, Xenas don't hesitate when meeting new human beings. They're very loyal companions to have, and it's always a treat being in their presence.

Xenas about the same size as a bobcat, but have relatively the same anatomic features of a domestic house cat. The have a large tuft of feathers on their shoulders, and the use of them is unknown. Some believe Xenas had wings, and the feathers are leftover from evolution. Xenas tails are medium furred, until you reach the tip, which is coated with long, silky hairs.

(Note: Both plural form and singular form of Xenas are spelled the same way.)

The Meadow

Sometimes, if you're lucky, a Sentain creature will wander through here. When that happens, suitors like yourself can attempt to persuade this creature to be your companion, by writing a story that introduces yourself to the Sentain Creature.

Note that each creature is different, and you should base your persuasion off of their personality.

Current Sentain Creature(s) up for Persuasion:

A young Xenas wandered about the forest of Sentai. She was smaller than the average Xenas, but her spirit made up for her lack of size. Her mother had told her stories of the humans. She was taught that some of them could be cold, cruel and just plain evil. However, she was told, there were those few who had love and kindness in their heart. And so she set out to the famed Meadow, in search of a loving human whom she could learn from.

She arrived in the Meadow shortly after a golden-colored Varhi. Her sleek pelt shimmered in the morning light, and her bi-colored eyes peered catiously about.

"Xalia!"

She could hear the loud, mysterious voice as it shouted her name. She padded swiftly to the opposite side of the clearing as the Varhi, and awaited for a kind, loving human to stumble her way.

Rules for Persuading

- Please put effort into your persusion. The minimum requirement will be one paragraph, or 5-7 sentences. The more detailed your persuasion is, the higher chance you'll get the creature you're persauding. You can recycle persuasions if you did not win your last creature.
- No Power-Playing the Sentain creatures. It's a big no-no. Do not make them do anything they're not doing in their initial description. Ex. A Vahri is laying in the shade. You CAN lay with them, talk to them, stare at them. You CANNOT make them get up and play with you, make them snuggle with you, or make them talk. You CANNOT make them do anything that is not initially happening arround them.
- You can use creature's you've already persauded to help you persuade another, but remember some creatures may not like the presence of other creatures.
- Talking to a creature helps them get to know you, but joining in on whatever they may be doing can increase their liking to you.
- There are some Shop Items that can help you with your persuasion. See Shop for more information.
- If you no longer want a creature that you currently own, -- say, it's too obnoxious for you -- you can return it to the Meadow and it can find a new companion.
- If no one is interested in the new creature(s) in the Meadow, the creatures will move on in the forest, but may come back in later times.
- You can have a maximum of 15 total creatures at one time.
