Why do you want this animal: because he's simply put, AWESOME, I'd really like to have him as my own because I really love the design and I think he'd be a fun one the role play with and draw! (I love to draw my characters) that and I may wright a story about his history
Personality: He's a sweet but rough-around-the-edges kinda guy. He doesn't like it when you pry into his buisness and he tends to have a short temper and times but when it all comes to it he's there to back you up when you need him.

~nice sunny days with a gentle breeze (to keep things cool)
~swimming in CLEAN water (that stuff better not be dirty or your lookin' at third degree burns XD)
~meeting new people and exploring new places
~winning in anything and everything (he just likes to see the look on your face when you loose XP)

History/Background: Mango has been alone all his life, if he HAS a mother, father, brother or sister than he doesn't know them. And frankly I don't think he cares. Mango was taken in by a household of humans,the eldest daughter is 16, her name's Suzie and she has short brown hair with hazel highlights and deep brown eyes that are always peaking with happiness and joy. She has really high grades and is often reffered to as a geek due to her glasses but her 2 loyal friends Guen (shoulder length black hair and green eyes) and Lulu (little longer than Guen's hair but blonde she has blue eyes) see right through that and love her anyways. She's sweet by nature. Her adorable freckles just seemed to suit her picture perfect, since she's also kinda a goof ball. The middle sibling was a young boy around 13 (turning) he has ponytailed blonde hair that fell to his waist and deep ocean blue eyes that you could loose yourself in, his name is Zackaria but everyone calls him Zack. He's more secretive but whenever it's just Mango and him he usually just reveals that smile he keeps hidden from everyone else, Mango and him are the closest of friends. They sit and watch anime together and even share cookies (a sacred treasure to both XD) on a sunday night when they're supposed to be sleeping. He's more of a trouble maker and on occasion got into fights and other tough situations, his grades were low but he has good friends and he is perfectly happy with his life as it is. The youngest of them all is Benjamin but people just call him Ben. He's a 9 and a half year old. He has dirty brown-blonde hair and mismatched eyes, his left is orange white his right is a light yellow, his eyes redden when he's angry but then again, he's a weird kid. Ben loves Mango more than he's willing to share with his sister and brother, he likes to sit and pet Mango though he can be kind of.....sharp. Ben likes to take Mango into the backyard and play chase or frisbee, they both really love it. ^-^ The Mother's name's just, well, Mom. Or that's what the kids call her. She has long curly brown hair that falls just below her shoulders her kind blue eyes are always a joy to see. She's an excellent cook and a fantastic mother who loves to take her children and Mango of course out to do fun things as a family (that inculdes dad! XD) she's sweet and kind to everyone and she LOVES to bake cookies (which Mango, Zack, Ben and Suzie are happy to consume) Dad is just, dad. Dad's a tall man with hair that sits on his head. His hair is blonde like Zack's though he has Suzie's brown eyes. He's a protective guy who will stand by you till the end. He's not around much because he has to work but whenever he comes back from a buisness trip he ALWAYS brings suvineres (even for Mango) Now you May be wondering how a DRAGON can be kept like a simple dog. That is because Mango is about the size of a chihuahua dog XD. He's still you and with his dragonic powers he can mildly change his size to that of a small pony. Ben always insists on riding Mango to school XD. Mango is currently living with his family and is very happy that he finally has somewhere he belongs! He loves them all dearly and hopes they will be together forever. (which they will)
Other: Mango will live with the humans till the day that Ben the youngest passes on then Mango himself will fly to the heavens to be with the ones he loves the most.

Fortis is Latin for Strong, because dragons are very small creatures.

European Dragon

European dragons are legendary creatures in folklore and mythology among the overlapping cultures of Europe.
Some European dragons can be spotted chatting quietly among themselves, which is a very unusual thing for a living creature besides a human to be doing.
Why do you want this animal:
Well, first of all, who cannot resist Fortis? He is a very beautiul dragon, his colors contrast incredibley!

This dragon is a work of art, the design is beautiful, and the beautifully expressed orange all over his body is incredible. He is a very cute dragon, and he will have a spot in my character website, he will have his own special page, and he will be featured in my character scrapbook I am currently making, and will have art made for him, lots and lots of art. He will be included in my fantasy creature novel I am going to be writing when my writers block goes away, and will be very close to my heart. I'll admit it, I at first only wanted him because of his gorgeous design. I haven't really been collecting pets, and have been getting lots of art with most of my good ones, so he would get lots of art, including my own art.

When I first even looked at Fortis, I could feel his personality flows through my head, and I jumped up in the air and screamed "Thats the one!" And all my family looked at me.

You know that feeling, you get, like, when, you really want something. Like a little boy in a chocolate factory, thats that oh my God feeling I had when I saw Fortis.

He is not a very natural colored character, although he does have some natural colors. His one, magnificent unnatural color orange. The oranges are expressed beautifully all over his fur and some on his eyes and nose, which is mostly the reason I am going for him. His colors blend together beautifully.

I have many characters, but out of most of them they are not as unique as this little dragon. His colors blend amazingly, he isn’t out of controlly colored either.

He is a beautiful character, so he would get a lot of attention in my book, he will be one of my TOP characters, and will be used left and right, up and down all the time. He will be feautred in group pictures, my sketchbook, my paint program, my art class.

Fortis was born in a small little corner of a forest. His mother gave birth to him and his other three siblings when she was very sick, and sadly, passed away in the process.

So, Fortis and his three brothers and sisters had to fend for themselves, teach eachother how to hunt, and the what not.

They tried and tried to behave, everyone of them knew it was going to be hard, but they all super tried.

Then, this very large, bear came a long, and he spoke to them in a frantic, excited voice, "Little dragons, I found a big dragon who wants to take care of you. Please come with me."

And the little dragons, started bubbling in excitment.

As they walked with the bear, going a long way to find this dragon, Fortis asked him a question, "Sir, do you even know who this bear is?"

And the other little dragons nodded as they seemed to agree with his question.

The bear laughed and sharply stopped, "No. I dont. But, I have a feeling he will do good for you, teaching you to read, write, but most of all, he will be your Sensei."

The litte dragons froze in their path, terrified, not knowing what to think of this bear, Fortis stood up again and asked, "Well, Sir, we barely even know you, what if that, what do you call it.... Ah, yes, Sensei, is a masked murderer?"

The little dragons fell over they were so terrified, then they stood back up and yelled, "We agree with Fortis! We agree with Fortis!"

The bear started to chuckle, well, chuckling uncontrollably! He laughed and laughed, then he settled down and wiped is forehead with his paw, "Guys, just trust me. It'll be fine."
