Name:
Akane
Gender:
Female
Age:
9
Tribe:
Yami
Rank:
Soldier
Personality:
Akane is usually alone, and because of past experiences she finds it hard to have faith or trust in anybody other than herself. She is a very determined wolf, and is always curious about new things. She is eager to learn about how the world works and her ultimate goal is to become the strongest wolf in Aurion. Akane is also a very distant wolf, she'll rather be alone in some secret corner instead of a crowd. She finds it hard to work with others, and because her comments are mostly straight forward and to the point not many wolves enjoy talking to her either. Akane doesn't care much about anything (except getting stronger), and probably won't do anything for anyone unless it interests her or the wolf asking is someone she respects. She is also very paranoid and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. She has a very cool head in battle and will never let her emotion control her actions. She appears to be cold and uncaring most of the times, but for her superiors she at least puts on a mask of respect.

Fire/Sand

Brief (or not) History:
"There was no time to think, no time to react at all before the great cat came upon us. There was only the instinct to survive, to live."
Sounds of claws tearing, fangs ripping filled the usually calm winter air and it was soon follow by the thump, thump, thump of bodies hitting the snow. Blood, so much blood stained the newly fallen snow into that deep red color I was named for. There was no where to run, no where to hide. Fear had filled every inch of my small body and I was paralyzed as I watch the massacre of my family. Where were the warriors of the Hakari Tribe? Why are they not helping us? There was no time to wonder about these thoughts, because soon the cat turned it's hunger filled eyes towards me. It pounced. It was probably my small size that saved my life, the cat weakened by it's previous fight, had misjudged the distance between us, sailing right over my head and exposing it's soft underbelly to me. A slash upwards and everything was over. My breath came in short gasps as my brain tried to catch up with these events. But it was too much, my eyes closed and my world faded into darkness.

When Akane woke up the next morning the reality of her situation began to set in. She slowly got up and limped unsteadily to the bodies of her parents. "They didn't come... the Hakari didn't come..." the young pup muttered to herself as she stared lifelessly ahead. Then she walk over to the fallen body of the mountain lion, it's fur was covered with a thin layer of snow that must have fallen during the night. Akane stared at the body for a while longer, at the creature who destroyed her life in a single night. How foolish was her hope for the Hakari tribe to save her family, but weren't they the protectors of Aurion? So why didn't they help? There was no reason to think about this anymore, her parents were dead and nothing can ever change that.
She took the skull of the mountain lion as a reminder to herself to never depend or trust on any wolf other then herself. She turned her back on the Hakari and started to run towards the shimmering volcano in the distance.

"I won't ever depend on anyone again.
I will become strong!
I am Akane of the Yami!"
