Winterstar laughed, watching the purple butterfly. WinterClan never had butterflies often, so this really was special. Almost like an omen. Along with the awesome hunter crouch. She poked the butterfly softly, and it started to flutter around again.

Goldenheart chuckled at her son and watched her kits.

Mintkit purred and ran up to the butterfly so fast you almost could see her and threw herself high up into the air and landed on the butterfly it showing up in her paws. She smiled proud and opened up her paws to show everyone her catch then it fluttered away and she hissed and caught it easily again.

Foxkit watched and narrowed his eyes at an adder that came into camp. His fur puffed up and it bristled. He yowled scared but ran at it with a hiss. He almost hit it then it striked at him and almost got him. He yowled scared and curled up in a ball as it slithered around him.

Sunpaw's paw was right above the water, she saw a glimmer and hooked a fish. She quickly killed it and mewed, "The second fish has been caught." Then she got ready to catch another fish.

So far Eaglepaw hadn't seen any fish at all. But he kept looking.

@Golden hey jut want to say that i don't want any Mary Sues- extra "powers" or other things that aren't normal, i just wanted to say this because no kit born only a couple of day before can kill a adder /: just wanted to bring this it to your attention)

Frostkit smiled as he watched the butterfly float on the wind he purred "Winterstar what was that?" he asked

Brownpaw purred "She-cats rule!" she purred flashing a smile at Sunpaw

Wrenpaw was determined to beat Eaglepaw he watched the water his newly caught stick next to him mocking him. he thought he saw something and leaned forward only to find himself falling towards the water. he landed with a splash and looked up sadly "Karma!" brownpaw teased

"That was a butterfly. And it really liked you." Winterstar laughed as she watched it fly away. "You're a pretty good hunter Frostkit." She praised, smiling.

Eaglepaw started laughing at Wrenpaw, then a flash of silver caught his eye, he reacted quickly, and managed to catch a big silver fish with scales that gleamed in the sun. "Yes!" Eaglepaw yelled, he was filled with joy, he'd caught a fish! He dropped it on the pile.

Sunpaw mewed, "Yes we do." in her quiet voice, and started laughing when Wrenpaw fell in. She leaned over and gripped the bigger apprentice by his scruff, it took a minute, but she managed to haul him onto dry land. She hadn't yet noticed Eaglepaw's fish that he had added to their pile, which now held three fish. "You okay?" she asked Wrenpaw.
