"Seal Sanctum is a place where all seals, common and endangered can run... er, swim, free to their heart's content," the guide explains. "We are currently under construction, but you can still admire the seals. Follow me." You follow the guide to a large tunnel that is made up of the edges of the underwater tanks. From here you can see the seals diving and whooping, clearly enjoying themselves. The guide turns back to you and says, "Once the seals are raised and ready to be released, we often put their care into the hands of one person as they make their transition to the wild. This is where you come in."

Common Seal

The Common Seal, as it's name suggests, is the easiest to come by seal. They eat a regular diet of salmon and other fish, occasionally choosing squid to complete their meal. The males are territorial and they are often aggressive of other types of seals.

Finned Seal

The first left of finned seals (on the left), are known as the "flare finned" seals. They have an appetite for spicy food and consider Mexican food a delicacy. The other type of finned seals look like sharks or dolphins and are named by the characteristic fin on their back.

Circus Seals

An uncommon variety of seal, the circus seals love to play around. They require constant attention and make play pranks on you, so it is best to watch your back. Having a more varied diet, these seals eat fish, berries, and occasionally fruits. They are often one of the more colorful types of seals.

Ribbon Seal

More often seen as raffle prizes and special event releases, the ribbon seals are very creative. They come in almost all colors and are very uncommon.

Harp Seal

Harp Seals can be found on icebergs and love the arctic areas. Because of the harsh conditions in which they live, they develop a furry coat to keep them warm. On the flip side, the cold and uninhabitable conditions make the area unable to be settled by human civilization and harder to preserve these rare species of seal.
