Aw, congratulations!!!
Congrats! It's always sounded like you really like him and I'm positive you two will make a great couple!
Daily Question: Nowhere. It practically went farther with the pervs from Gravelbourgh this weekend. (Not really, just kidding, but it could've if they hadn't been complete pervs, because, dang, some of them were cute.) Since that was a slightly boring answer, I wanna answer yesterday's question(s?) too. As for the song, I just made a whole playlist, but the undisputed #1 song is definitely Happy, by Never Shout Never. Just because I have this whole thing with telling him he needs to be enthusiastic and smile and whatnot, and I just smile so much every time I play that song and think of him. It's not even necessarily any of the other lyrics that do it, other than "We should be happy, that's what I said from the start." It's not the context Christofer Drew is singing about, but it works. Oh, and there's always I Want You to Want Me by Cheap Trick and I'm Not That Girl from Wicked, because, having a crush, most people can relate to those two. And 6 Months, by Hey Monday, now that swimming's over, and I won't see him for more than half a year. And as for the second question, I see him less during the school year, just because he lives in a town 15 minutes away and I only really see him during summer. Last year I saw him 3 times between swimming seasons, and one of those was a swimming-related event.
Speedswimming's over now. Provincials were this weekend, and I had one heck of a time with Michael, his brother Anthony, his cousin Josh, my friend Avery, and Avery's friend Ryan. Didn't actually spend as much time as I would've liked with Mikey, I was being kinda antisocial the first morning, he was antisocial the second morning, and the second afternoon I had to help with concession, raffle, and selling towels, but I sat with him at the banquet Saturday night. We had a blast. As much fun as Tony, Ryan, and Josh are, it's nice to just have Michael time. He's quite a bit different than them. Plus Josh sometimes creeps me out. As hot as he is, Avery can have him. I've got Michael anyways. And we both stayed back to play Killer Bunnies (actually, he, Avery's brother Drew, and Michael's cousin Noah went across the street to Drew's place until I, with my minion Jordan, stalked them down and got them to play Killer Bunnies) when Josh, Avery, Tony, Mitchell, Haley (another swimmer), and Ryan went to Ryan's house during the party Sunday night. It was for the better anyways. We played 3 kickbutt games of Killer Bunnies, and they were apparently drinking (enough for Mitchell to get tipsy) at Ryan's, and I only recently stopped drinking, and the best way to stick with that is to stay away altogether. Plus Michael doesn't drink either. Ever.
But it's sad I'm not going to see him anymore. We'll see each other at the pizza banquet at the end of the month, but after that I have to hope that luck and random coincidences are on my side so I can see him. Last year I saw him twice after the pizza banquet: a couple weeks later at the grand opening of the car dealership Avery's dad owns, where we had a blast, and once at a hockey game where he was there with his hockey team. We barely spoke that time. (Ironically enough, me and my friend made a list of guys I wouldn't see at the game just a couple minutes earlier, and Michael was number 2 on that list). I've texted him a couple times, but he hasn't replied. Knowing him, he probably hasn't even read the second one yet. Or he has no idea who it is, since he doesn't have my number. But it's hard not to figure it out, since my fully Ukrainian, ultra-spazzy personality shines through in text messages, and I'm one of few people who a) call him Mikey, and b) say yeesh. Also, unless he has a stalker, not that many other people would know about Killer Bunnies Sunday night. But he probably has read it, and just hasn't responded because a) he isn't much of one for texting, (ver true) b) he just isn't answering because I called him Mikey both times, he hates that, I should stop (quite likely), or c) he's done with me now that swimming's done (most likely).
I just realized this is by far the longest and rumbliest post I've made in a long time, and no one probably wants to read it, so I'll stop here.
EDIT: While retracing this, I realized I did that stupid thing where I ramble but forget to explain stuff and consequently confuse people. So here it is: Tony and Anthony are the same person, Tony is short for Anthony; the pizza banquet is our swim club's awards banquet, we order a bunch of pizza, and Susan, our coach/chef bakes dessert, and we hand out awards, leftover ribbons and whatnot, and pb timesheets; and Killer Bunnies isthe most awesome, weirdest, most complicated card game ever. Oh, and the pervs from Gravelbourgh. At the swim meet this weekend, on Sunday, when I wasn't swimming, a bunch of guys from Gravelbourgh (one of the teams in the South) came and started hitting on me while I was sitting under the waterslide, listening to my music. They tried getting me to do the stupid "Can you touch you elbows together?" thing, and tried getting my number (since I told them Facebook was a conspiracy theory), but all they got was my name. My first name. I almost had to pull Michael in to help, since he's the kind of friend that helps with that kind of situation.
Oh, also, chances are there's gonna be a rumour about me and Michael sometime soon, since Calum, another swimmer, seems desperate for Hammerhead drama, and Avery and Mitchell are done with each other now. (Well, Avery's done with Mitchell. Mitchell's PO'd because of Avery bringing Ryan to the meet and flirting with Josh). Because that's exactly what we need. More Michael-and-Gale talk. Because we don't get enough of that already. (Note the sarcasm).
