I won't make them go out of character or make them do something they shouldn't, I just don't want to have my Sakli (Sack-L-Eye) to feel like he's walking around in an empty world. c:
I may be mentioning some of the other species as background (except for my Whavi), is that okay to?

My entry's element is going to be ice, are we able to have it tinted a colour?
And can we have the ice act as liquid ice (it's still a solid, just able to move/grow/shrink/etc.) that freezes once the Aurion Wolf lets/commands it?

On the same line of thought as above, does it matter more if the story and the character are well developed, but the character's physical design isn't as spectacular, or if one has an awesome looking character but hasn't developed the character's personality and their story?

When judging would you be open to breaking down the places for each tribe, rather than three places for all entries? I see quite a few great entries for both tribes I'd like to see made into characters.

Do the aurion's eat meat? Or do they eat fruits and berries like the Chalers?


When the pups go to speak to the moon spirit for the first time, does a large group go all at the same time, or do they go one at a time, or is only one pup most commonly speaking to the moon spirit in a day to ask for there element and furute Scholar whom they will be apprenticed under?

How many pups are commonly in a litter?

Can Healers have mates?

With some of those areas that are vague I just use my imagination and fill in the details. That's what I like about this particular contest. It seems to be open to a lot of different interpretation. I think the holder of the contest wants us to come up with some of our own ideas, otherwise they would have mentioned it already or answered.

One thing I thought of and surprised no one else picked up on (so far) is the thought of those Hakari masks holding powers given by the healers or the molders of the tribe. I believe it to be a great idea and wouldn't mind if people go ahead and use that idea.
Another idea is having the Yami tribe holding ceremonies where they dress up in bones. I think I've seen that line of thought used in a few entries and it seems very fitting.

These here are not specifically mentioned but is how I interpreted the story:

- The Yami tribe is rather young. It is the 1st generation. Kuro, their leader is a young/middle aged adult. anyone older than him would have to be from either the Hakari tribe or some unknown tribe (make up your own imagination what tribe that would be.) Anyone born of that tribe has to be rather young.

- The Hakari tribe is of unknown age. Shiro is also rather young (not much older than Kuro), but there is no mention if he is their first leader. As far as I know wolves of any age can be in that tribe and born of that tribe. It is also implied there are other Hakari tribes as well. I don't see any indication of there being other Yami tribes.

There is still day and night.

Aurion wolves eat meat, but unlike the Yami the Hakari are very greatful and prey only on the very primitive species, not chalers/refleur/glowdeer. They prey on normal looking mice/rabbits/snakes etc

Pups go with their mentor only, or sometimes with their mentor and the alpha.

Aurion wolves do and will have mates and litters. They mostly mate for life, but it is not always so. They are usually accepted (the couple is) by the moon spirit... sort of at a wedding-type thing. A ceremony.

pups are the same as actual wolves, 1-6 in a litter. Litters will most likely be chosen with a random generator but not always, it depends on the parents.
