Mintpaw dashed up a tree, and curled up in it's protective branches, falling into a deep sleep. He seemed to be thrown into the Dark Forest by his own mother, who's eyes were pained, and her jaws gaped open with an unspoken apology.
"Come on, Shadow Cat, I'm ready..." He whispered, not shooting one last glance at where his mother disappeared.
