"ready for the trek to he top!" he asked his pelt puffed up. At this point he seemed to e the only one with spirit left

Eagleflight got to his feet and fluffed up his thankfully thick fur, "I'm ready." he didn't sound as enthusiastic as he had last night.

Silverpaw got up and mewed, "I'm ready whenever you are." she tried to look confident, but failed, she looked as miserable as she was feeling, she was cold and wet from melting snow.

Sunpaw just got to her paws, she didn't say anything, but it was oblivious she wanted nothing better than to go home and curl up in her nest.

Emberleap laughed and lunged at her pinning her to the floor "pinned ya" he chuckled "maybe i am a it of a brag-y" he chuckled

Hawkstar looked around "hmm were is everyone?" she wonder "wolfpaw, Patchpaw, Silverpaw and Sunpaw are all gone!" sh meowed Marchfur walked up her pale gray fur ruffle with sleep "i don't know where they went i fell asleep for a little bit and woke up to find them all gone!" she meowed sounding worried she looked over at Stone and dipped her head "welcome!" she said cheerfully "are you going to join our clan?' she asked in a hushed voice

Patchpaw was just about to leave again when a strung gush of wish blew his fur very hard "c'mon everyone into the den Silverpaw you wanna share" he said tossed the mouse towards her while running into the den the tips of her fur was frozen.

Stone looked at the new warrior and dipped his head back to her "Maybe, if i feel welcomed" he mewed, then started to look over the camp check out everything there was to see

Nettleleaf hissed at the ground in front of her. "I have a promise to a cat! How should I convey to him that I have to break it? I can't do that!" She hissed,pacing back and forth.

Winterstar trotted toward Steep Rock. Maybe the apprentices were still ok. She looked back for Flamemask and Quailpaw, making sure they were right behind her.

Patchpaw could see the longing to go home in all their eyes he felt a bit disappointed but shrugged it away "you wanna go back to camp?' he asked gently feeling bad for ringing them here

Marchfur watched Nettleleaf "which tom is it? from Winterclan i mean" she said softly "i won't judge you I just want to help" she meowed "i promise on my only surviving kin that i won't tell a soul" he meowed

Rainkit smiled and licked her cheek

Flamemask walked through the snow with ease his large paws walked easily across the snow Quailpaw trailed a it leaping high just to sink back into the snow he grumbled angrily "my paws aren't big enough to balance atop the snow" he murmured

Winterstar smiled at Quailpaw. "You could try climbing the trees like a squirrel, being our lookout." She suggested, laughing softly. She knew that she couldn't see any apprentices yet, but they were now at the foot of Steep Rock.

"If you don't tell anyone...It's Emberleap. Rainstep's twin?" Nettleleaf blushed as she admitted it to Marchfur. She curled her tail around her paws as she waited to be ridiculed.

Eaglepaw considered it for a moment, then new determination blazed in his eyes, "No. I'm going all the way." he mewed.

Silverpaw listened to Eaglepaw, "I can go father, I'll dry off soon enough." she mewed after a minute.

Sunpaw mewed, "I'll go down by myself I guess, I don't want to go any higher." her voice was hesitant, she wanted someone to volunteer to go down with her, if not she would have to keep going up. Eaglepaw and Silverpaw looked at her, no one volunteered, "Fine, I'll go higher." she didn't sound to happy about it.

Quailpaw looked up at her determined "no, it's ok i can get this" he said jumping up and down through the snow like a deer

Flamemask chuckled at the little tom he walked up next to Winterstar "he kinda reminds me of myself when i was younger. When i was a new apprentice you were a new warrior i remember that" he chuckled

Flamepaw glared at the cold snow. it was so deep! Winterpool chuckled at him "c'mon its not that hard!" she encouraged Flamepaw took one step and disappeared into the deep snow followed by the intense laughing of all the warriors and apprentices.

Patchpaw smiled "alright then!" he meowed stared to walk through the deep snow "i herd if you talk while walking through the snow it warms you up cause it takes your mind off of it!" he meowed

Marchfur nodded "he is a very handsome tom" she meowed "i remember how close you were with him and his brother on the great journey from the other lakeside forest" she meowed "you were all kits and i was a apprentices I actually used to like the HAwkclan deputy were we best friends in Windclan" she sighed

"Ok, but don't tire yourself out!" Winterstar told Quailpaw before turning back to Flamemask. "I remember that! You said you'd start building tunnels under the snow if you had to!" She laughed. "Why are you blushing?" She teased him, flicking his ear with her tail.

Yeah, he is pretty handsome. "I remember the great Journey..." Nettleleaf nodded, memories of chasing each other and teasing flooded her mind. "You don't like him any more?" She asked Marchfur, looking up.
