Hawkclan vs Winterclan

Winterstar twitched her whiskers, of course this wasn't a good idea. "Do you remember where you last scented them? Maybe they've been on the move and made some fresh pawprints?" She suggested, standing up and already starting toward the camp enterance. "I really hope they haven't done anything stupid."

"well they looked like they were heading towards or past steep mountain...." he meowed "I don't think Hawkclan would send apprentices up that mountain seeing as even our strongest warriors don't venture up there" he meowed "but there isn't much past steep mountain" he meowed

"Let's go then. If they're HawkClan, they won't stay warm for long." Winterstar sighed as she started to pad out of camp. What sort of punishment should she cook up for these kits? A cold breeze blew through her pelt and she looked up at Steep Mountain. This would be a long night.

Flamemask nodded and followed his leader "should i bring Rosebud too?" he asked looking back at the sleeping medicine cat.

Winterstar thought about this for a while. "No, we should let her stay with the two remaining apprentices." She nodded and kept on going. She knew that the Water Hole was nearby. But there had been the scent of HawkClan close to the border, but no scent of violence or blood spill. "Flamemask. Do you smell any warriors nearby?"

"I don't know the cats of Hawkclan well enough to know" he meowed "all i recognized was that little troublesome apprentice Patchpaw. surely you remember when he was a kit he walked into our camp and tried to attack me claiming 'he could take on all of Winterclan single-pawed" he muttered shaking his head shamefully

Winterstar giggled to herself. "Of course! 'I could take you on aaaaaall by myself! Aaaaaall by myself!'" She laughed, that had been one of her first weeks of being leader. "But I'm serious. There has to be some sort of meeting here. The HawkClan scent isn't this strong all of the time."

"I hear them." She whispered. "I know a way around camp so we dont get in trouble. If we are really quick we can do it." She whispered again and took off but was very quelt and barely made a sound on the ground and soon they were back in camp and they went to the nursery. When they were in she spoke again. "But still it would be nice to have kits one day." She smiled.

Even Eaglepaw was cold in the "den" by now, he pressed closer to Sunpaw and then fell asleep again.

Rainstep laughed softly he smiled "yea i agree" he meowed softly

Patchpaw yawned and looked around "might as well hunt" he murmured to himself as he walked quietly out of the den. the snow under his paws was slushy and awkward feeling. he looked around until he camp back to the den with three mouse and a half starved raven he grinned "breakfast" he meowed sticking his head in the small den

Flamemask nodded "they might me planning something" he muttered "we should probably prepare out warriors" he meowed "you know if we had nay left" he sighed looking up at the sun that slowly crept up into the sky

Emberleap yawned when he felt a drip on his nose and jumped up looking around he looked up to see a pine tree dripping water he chuckled "psst. hey Nettleleaf wake up" he whispered. He took a few steps back and ran at the pine tree crashing his paws on the trunk and watching all the dew fall onto the sleeping she-cat
