Star then started playing with the foam carten that held the trout. She tore it apart after scurrying it across the cage. after that she went back to the front of the cage and slid out a peice of the carten out to him. She made a shape, but didnt know it was considered one. She just created it out of her tearing and imagination.

Laurence reached trough the bars and picked up the star, "Thank you!" he decided he needed to get her some toys to play with. No more would he treat Star like the animal that the boss and the other scientists thought she was, and he'd teach her how to read and write as well.

Star then crawled to the middle of the cage and curled up. Her tail wrapped around her her legs tickling her nose making her sneeze. Star's ears twitched as the A.C air blew and touched her ears. She slowly closed her eyes and purred herself to sleep.

"Come on now," Jay chuckled as he motioned for her to get into the water. "I'm not cold now, and I won't be cold when I'm keeping you warm. So? Why not just come in?" He grinned as he playfully splashed her with more water. "If you don't want to, that's fine too though."

"I'll be making lunch if you need anything," Taro said to Sara with a light smile. He headed down the stairs and soon into the kitchen to help Shun with the fish. "Sorry for the wait," he said with a weak smile and took over one of the two skillets that Shun was using so that the other neko wasn't doing all the work.

Romaku had no choice. She slipped right into the pool getting all wet anyways. Romaku came back up to the surface her hair in her face. She took a deep breath of air,and slowly starts to breath normally.

"Aw, can't you smile for me, Romaku?" Jay asked as he moved to her side and brushed her wet hair from her face. He smiled down at her and kept her close. "See? You won't ever be cold with me around." He playfully nuzzled her and laughed. "I never had this much fun in ages."

Laurence smiled as Star fell asleep, he opened the cage softly and removed the foam and her water bottle. As he left the room, he put the lights on low, so he could just make her out, and then closed the door softly.

Shun smiled at Taro, "No problem." He took a last bite of the speckled trout he'd been eating and then helped Taro keep an eye on the salmon. He gestured to the other trout after a second, "Want it? I can look after the fish."

Romaku cuddled in with him more. She was shivering."j-j-jay.... cant we go into the hot t-tub or something first" Romaku asked looking up at him, her ears folding back.

When Laurence arrived at work the next morning, he was loaded down with bags filled with all kinds of balls, puzzles, clockwork mice, and a rag doll. He also had a pillow for Star to sleep with. He went into the office and got things ready for the day, he pulled out a salmon he had cooked at home for Star to eat, he put in another foam tray and grabbed a water bottle. He opened the door to the room where Star was and turned the light on fully.
