disapearence of the nekos(accepting)

Star smiled and purred, "I....love.." She kept struggling to speak

Laurence kept writing down what she said, it was good she was talking, usually she didn't. He was quite curious now, but a phone started ringing in his pocket. He considered not picking it up, he looked at the number as he pulled it from his pocket. His boss, he decided that his boss would have to wait, even if it got him in a bit of trouble.

"y-you..." Romaku said slowly then she said all three words again with a small giggle

[Ivara]

(I think you mean Star.)

It took Laurence a minute to understand, he was stunned, he'd experimented on this neko, and done so many other things, tests and shots, etc. He didn't even think this neko would like him, much less love him! He didn't speak for a minute, but then said finally, "Whats your name?" he'd never bothered to ask before, in all the weeks this neko had been with him. Maybe she likes me because I gave her a cage she can stand up and walk around in, maybe that's it. Yeah, that why, before she could barely move, but once she got transferred to me she got a bigger cage and she likes it. That's all. he thought to himself.

[Ivara]

Shun pulled the two cooked fish out of the pans and but them on a platter he'd found in another drawer. Then he pulled out two salmon and started cooking those adding the same spices as the last two fish. As the salmon cooked, Shun put the speckled trout on a seperate plate and began to eat. Cooked to perfection! he thought as the delicious fish melted away in his mouth.

"s-star?" Star wasnt sure if that was her name. But she did like it after all. She reached her hand out of the cage wanting to touch his hand but she was shocked badly because this shocking callor was on her neck just in case she attacked. She fell down on her back whimpering a couple time before getting over it and going back to the front of the cage looking up at him. She sat on her knees petting her tail.

[Ivara]

(Shock collar? Okay, if you want.)

Laurence nodded, "I like that name." he felt bad that she had gotten shocked, but it was required by his boss so she didn't escape, this was the only neko they had been able to keep for long enough to get a shock collar on. He wrote down her name in his notebook and looked at the tuna, "Are you not hungry? Or do you want something different to eat for a change? I think I have some trout from last night in the fridge." he looked at her. He really did feel bad about her getting shocked.

Star tilted her head to the left her ears pushed off to the side. Her tail started to twitch at the tip every once in a while. "t-trout?" she had no idea what trout was. "what is.." she coughed for a second. "trout?" The shock frightened her so much, it was harder to talk and her throut burned from the electricty.

[Ivara]

"Fish, really good fish." Laurence replied, without waiting for an answer he rushed off to the break room where the fridge was, he rummaged around inside for a minute before finding the trout, he hadn't eaten much of it, so it would be enough for her to eat. He also grabbed a cold water bottle and opened it, Star would be thirsty after getting shocked like that. He ran back to the room where she was and put the water bottle and the trout, still in its take out container, inside the cage. Then he decided against recording what she'd said about trout, the boss would probably guess what he was up to and punish him, severely.

Star picked up the water bottle and figured out pretty quickly how to open it even though shes never seen one before. She put water in her hand and sapped it up with her tongue. After a while she finished the water and threw the plastic bottle on the other side of the cage. She wripped open the trout container and smelt the seasoned fish sneezing. Star then licked some of it and actually liked it. So she picked it up and took a big bite out of it then another and another till it was all gone.

Laurence laughed as he watched how she drank the water from the bottle. As she ate the trout he got himself a bottle of water and drank it the normal way, she finished eating before he'd drunk half his water bottle, he always had been a slow drinker. Some of the neko's we've captured before are nothing like Star, they know how to read and write and talk and drink from water bottles, Star must have been caught when she was very little, all the other nekos have found some way to escape, she hasn't even tried, this is what life is like for her. this thought saddened him.
