Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?: I will get art done of this character and the reason I wasnt him is because although his patterns arent complicated I like the way he looks.

Personality: Daryl put up a wall to protect his feelings from being hurt by others. He only shows them to those he trust and this takes a while to earn. He is very trustworthy and loyal to those that he does trust. He is caring and kind but likes to hide this and is also very quiet.

History:
Daryl was born in the country with his brothers and sisters.When he was young his mother had told them that when they were old enough they would be taken away, probably to the city, to live with another owner. She told them that when they went they must treat their owner kindly and show loyalty to them and never harm them.

As his mother had promised when Daryl was only a few months old. He was adopted by a tall man who put him in his car gently and in the seat beside him. They drove for hours when finally they stopped at a big two story house. The man got out of the car and picked him up gently taking him inside the house. His wife waited eagerly for him and smiled happily when the man showed her the puppy .They put him in a warm basket to sleep in.

Daryl had lived there for two years when one night the lady and the man who owned him got into a big fight. He didn’t know what to do and watched silently as the women stormed out of the house. He heard a car engine start and went to the opened door and watched the car drive down the street. The man seemed very angry and yelled at Daryl and started dragging him outside. Daryl whimpered as he was pulled along and was chained up to a tree in the rain that didn’t offer much shelter in the rain.

Daryl knew then that the man would blame him every time he was mad now and as he predicted every time the man was mad he got chained up outside and yell at. One day he couldn’t handle it anymore and, ignoring his mother’s advice to always stay loyal to your owner, he ran away from his owner running down the street and going down many streets and through parks.

Daryl had been on the streets for two days when he saw a girl that had a long piece of ribbon in her hair. As soon as she saw him she rushed over and grabbed him. He froze in shock and fear now scared that everyone would hurt him as his previous master had done so many times. The girl saw that he was wearing a collar and with one hand untied the ribbon that was in her hair and tied it to his collar. She pulled him along with it and he was forced to follow her not wanting to hurt or anger her in fear of being yelled or beaten. After walking down a few roads the girl stopped at the front of a house and pushed open the gate in front of it. She walked through it dragging Daryl with her and into the house.

Once they were inside the house the girl called out to someone and soon a woman appeared with the look of shock on her face. Daryl tried to back away from them but but found he couldnt move. The girl had a tight grip on the ribbon and was now talking to the older woman and pointing to him. Soon the woman was shaking her head and telling the girl that they would have to put up a sign saying that they had found a lost dog. The deal was if no one claimed him in the next couple of weeks that they would keep him. The girl untied the ribbon and patted Daryl looking closer now at his collar and found his name tag his name is Daryl she said to the woman showing her his collar. The weeks flew by quickly and Daryl learnt that he had nothing to be afraid of here with these people. No one came to claim him and the girl’s mother had to keep her promise and let the girl keep him. Daryl learnt that the girls name was Lena and he became closer to her. Finally he began to trust in her learning that not all people were cruel and hurtful like he had thought.

Other: I might add a few accessories but not a lot, probable only a bracelet and I dont have photobucket or tinypic sorry if I need it to adopt him

Could you please make your paragraphs more dignified? I'm sorry, because they are paragrapphs, but to me it just looks like a big wall of text. xD
And could you shorten the sentences a little? They seem rather long, so it's harder to read the history.
