Teddy's Adventure XDD
There was lots of chaos that day. Sweetums, Janie's pet, was giving birth to babies. "They're so small!" breathed Janie, watching the babies suckle. "And hairless. YUCK!" said her big sister, Jessica. Janie glared at her sister. "They're just babies! We didn't have any hair when we're born either," she pointed out. Jessica sighed and walked off to her room, leaving Janie to watch the babies.

Two weeks later, the babies had grown some fur and were scrambling around their cage, exploring the wonders of life. But one hamster stayed close to his mother, scared of what he may find. The others teased him for being scared, and even more so for being the smallest. Teddy was fed up with getting teased. One day he ran away from home by digging to the floor of the cage and gnawing a hole through it. He squeezed underneath and came out the other side on the table, only to find out a huge problem;
Jessica's cat.

It was huge to the runt named Teddy. He gaped in fear and astonishment at the creature. It was lean and silky-furred with intense yellow-green eyes, and piercing claws. It lay on Janie's bed, grooming itself. Teddy braced himself for the adventure of a life-time and climbed down the counter, only slipping once. Suddenly he felt something crunching underneath his paws, and saw spilled chips all over the floor. He winced as he stepped on more, the crunching getting louder. Suddenly Janie's cat, named Milky, jumped up, obviously hearing Teddy. Teddy ran for his life, squeezing through the crevice of the door. Luckily Milky couldn't fit through such a small crevice, and Teddy was safe again.

He then traveled the rest of the house, going through the cat door and exploring the real world. Everything was beautiful; stretching trees and soft moss. He smiled to himself, figuring he could make a fit house in that hole in the tree. He climbed halfway up the tree to the hole, and peered in, only to scream. An owl was inside, and it turned it's head to see him. It hooted menacingly; Teddy figured he'd better be going! So he climbed down the tree, and frantically looked around.

He suddenly spotted a bush, and grinned. He dashed into it, hiding there until the owl gave up and went back to his hole. Teddy looked around, and spotted a shiny, metallic can.
Maybe I can live in there!, thought Teddy, racing over. He sniffed at it and wrinkled his nose in disgust; it sure did smell yucky. He gasped as he realized how big it really was. How am I going to climb this thing? he asked, but didn't have any time to figure it out, instantly getting snatched up by a tall human, who took him to the pound.
And now I've come to adopt him XDD
