I'm sure many of you have been wondering what happened to me. No, I didn't fall off the face of the Earth or anything. I probably should have posted something much sooner, and I feel horrible about that. But I feel even more horrible because I was putting off giving everyone the bad news. Yes, I've got bad news.

Unfortunately, a new online project has come up in my life that has trumped The Whole Kit and Kaboodle. I had planned on coming back to K&Ks full-time, handing out new adopts every other week and celebrating my one year anniversary to CS (June 25). As you can see, none of that happened. To be honest, I haven't even been on CS that much lately because of this new project. That in itself should be a total shocker, considering I used to spend hours on CS. So, what's the online project?

It's called Equestria Online.

Many of you are probably going "What?!" But you My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fans might know exactly what I'm talking about. For those who don't know, Equestria Online is a new, fan-made, free massively multiplayer online game. The people working on it are fans (better known as bronies) of the new My Little Pony t.v. show, and they are building the game themselves. Everything (Non-Player characters, storyline, combat system, character customization, etc.) is being decided and created by the members of the team. And I am a member of that team.

Actually, I'm the head leader of the Concept Artists and Writers sub-team, meaning I have to delegate work to the other concept artists and writers on the team, check their work progress, schedule Skype meetings, etc. It's a large responsibility for me. I never could have imagined that I would ever have a chance to work on making an online game like this, and it is sort of a dream come true for me. Despite not getting paid, I am really enjoying myself.

Right, you're probably wondering what the bad news is. The bad news is that I'm going to have to shut down The Whole Kit and Kaboodle. There is going to be no way for me (especially with school coming up) to continue running K&Ks while working on Equestria Online. I know I've already invested way more time doing K&Ks than I have with Equestria Online, but in truth the MMO is going to introduce me to so much more than K&Ks ever could. So, I'll be closing down K&Ks.

This little shop has had a good, long run and turned out to be way more popular than I EVER thought it would be. I'd like to thank each and every person that has adopted from The Whole Kit and Kaboodle. Without you, the shop never would have gotten as popular as it did. I also want to thank my wonderful artists, who produced litter after litter of desirable adoptables. I also want to thank DJ Wolfy for being such a great moderator. She was always there to catch rule breakers when I wasn't online. Thank you, all of you. The Whole Kit and Kaboodle would have been nothing without any of you.

I just want to say a few last notes:

Just because K&Ks is shutting down now doesn't mean that I won't come back to it. I have enjoyed it too much to just let 6+ months of work go completely down the drain. There's a slight chance that I'll make a handful of adopts during times I'm not doing something for Equestria Online.

Also, THE LINEARTS ARE NOT FOR FREE/SALE. I don't want anybody thinking they can steal my linearts or PM me asking to buy them. I am not interested in selling them for pets, C$, deviantart points, any other form of virtual money, or real money. And I WILL report people who steal my linearts without permission (which you won't get). The only people I ever gave my linearts to are the artists, and I trust them all NOT to give out the linearts OR go on to make their own shops with my linearts. I didn't give them permission to do so.

Yes, I'm back open! But, unfortunately, it's going to be very short-lived.
School just started again. That and Equestria Online are going to take up all of my free time.
So don't expect new kreatures to be released all too often! Sorry if I got your hopes up!
