Got to work out a couple of glitches regarding how they show up on black backgrounds. (My graphics program is being annoying) Once I get the glitches fixed I think I'll set up a post for them and set up a form to fill out for them... They'll be free, of course.

Also, I'm considering changing the adoption process. Having you all fill out forms is entirely too tedious and it takes me a bit to go through them soooo...
What would you all think of scavenger hunts being the main form of adoption? Rocks would be hid all over the thread and maybe on other threads of mine as well. If you found a rock you could quote the post in a PM to me to prove you found it along with a filled-out adoption form for it (the form would be much simpler and shorter then the current one) First person to find the rock and message me gets to keep the rock.
I would hide a lot of rocks so finding rocks would be fairly easy, and you don't have to adopt every rock you find, obviously. (You would only be allowed to adopt one rock every... oh, five days or so? Depending on how many rocks I have hidden at the time. So if you didn't like the first rock you found you would probably want to just keep looking, 'cause of the limit.)

Yes, I see your point...
That annoys me too. I was hoping to fix that by hiding a *lot* of rocks, and then limiting each person to only one rock every week or so.
That way there would be enough so that everyone could find some.
Most scavenger hunts are annoying because they have a ton of people looking for one prize, and that's when it gets frustrating. I'm hoping that with this system we could fix that.

The hiding-on-other-threads would only be until this thread has enough posts to fit all the rocks hidden, and I would of course link to whatever threads I've hidden rocks on from here.

Would you guys be alright with trying it for like, a week, and seeing how it goes? If enough people say they don't like it, we can just switch back to the old adoption system.
