The next Ahzenai to appear from the vortex did so in a most unusual manner. Instead of simply walking out like his previous cousins, Thegalym was launched from the vortex in a fiery mass and crashed into the lake, spraying water everywhere. He came up sputtering and coughing and paddled over to the edge of the lake, dragging himself out. His normally bright and fiery element was nothing more then a slight glow as it recovered from the dousing. He stood there for a moment- apparently letting the sopping nature of his fur hit him- then shook violently to dislodge the dampness.
Once satisfied he was no longer dripping he waltzed over to a boulder and hopped on top, settling down for an intensive grooming. He was just in the middle of drying his left shoulder when he noticed the humans watching him. He paused for moment before recoiling back in shock. Where did they come?! Panic filled him and he almost slipped off his perch and back into the water.
"Stay back!" He yelped, more in shock then actual anger. "I, Thegalym am a powerful Ahzenai and I'm not afraid to whoop on you!"
He formed a fist with his paw and shook it, as if to emphasize his point.

My dark brown eyes moved back and forth at a constant rate, inspecting my surroundings and, more importantly, all of the Ahzenai that were about in the cave. My attention was quickly directed towards the vortex where a female Ahzenai walked out, but i paid little attention as i watched others eyes flash with a look of wooing ability. I sighed slightly, knowing that there were others who were so much better at socializing then i was. Then the strange vortex started again to show that there was a new Ahzenai on the way. It seemed to throw out a flash of purple and burning flames as if it were glad to be getting rid of whoever that was and I flinched as a few droplets of water were sprayed over in my direction as the shape splashed into the water.
As the purple cat looking creature dragged itself out from the water i noticed that the flames that surrounded him were now almost completely diminished as it hopped up onto a boulder and began to groom itself. I was still in awe from taking in all of this new acquired information from Valcyon and of the sight i had just witnessed when i heard a yelp from the creature i was watching intently grooming itself.
"Stay back! I, Thegalym am a powerful Ahzenai and I'm not afraid to whoop on you!" Well that definitely startled me a bit, to be told by--Thegalym, yes that was his name -- Thegalym that he was not afraid to 'whoop on me'. I took a few steps back to give him more space, my arms pulled back and my palms showing as if to show no sign of being a potential threat as he hurried back into the bright blue water. He shook his newly formed fist in the air to show he was not kidding about his threat although i took it to be more of a panicked fist. I knew what it was like to be startled, frightened as you suddenly became aware of strangers watching you.Of course he didn't want anyone to come closer, not if he didn't trust you...
"N-no need to act like that" i stuttered not knowing if i should trust my guts feeling about him doing this in a rash decision. I was still new to this place and i had nothing to try and show that i was a good person but my own personality. So i went with that thought as i walked over with caution, letting myself stop in a crouched position. My mom always did say i needed to be more confident in myself and my abilities so i guess now wouldn't be a bad time to start. As i stood only about a foot away i started doing what i always do to people, inspect them.
His coat had a very nice pattern to it, with it's white design and almost creamy yellow spots. I assumed that he must be a Plasma element from the fire before and the bright yellow orange glow floating behind him. Now what to say? I was never good at continuing or starting a conversation correctly and as it dawned on me i felt less confident in myself but it was to late, i was already this close and i had to say something.
"Hi Thegalymmm" i tried my best to pronounce his name as he had said it, not knowing if he was one to get frustrated if his name was mis-pronounced. "You don't have to be afr- i mean angry at me. I'll try not to invade your space to much." i joked adding my very well known humor into my words. I dipped my hand onto the waters wet surface and watched as the disruption to the water sent ripples towards Thegalym. "The waters nice, i mean if you like that kinda stuff" I observed making eye contact with his bright green eyes. "You know, if you'd be willing to come out of the water, you could always come with me...Leave the cave and we could see the world together." Surly he had to have some curiosity to what was outside of this large cave, although i wasn't sure if he'd want to see it with me. I mean i have trouble leaving to new places, especially with new people, on my own but i was sure that if i were to have him along with me, we could both go out and explore. It always seems easier when you're with someone, it gives you a sense of safety in the unknown. "There can be so many new adventures out there for both of us, something new..." I felt like i was just starting to sound weird though i couldn't really do much more. I finally pulled my hand away and stood up, wondering if he would take up my offer to go with me
wow that was a really bad ending lol
