Creatures mainly avaliable in Chrisalis Isle is Griffins. ( Can be referred as Gryphons, Griffons,
Though there has been many "negative" view points of these Griffins, as shown here,

Beware the griffon. Those vorpal talons will rend human flesh as easily as the skin of prey animals. Voracious, ferocious, and cunning, the gryphon will come out of the sky with the sun at its back, and take one of your party before you even know it’s upon you. Take heed, then, in the open places.

Some Griffins are even friendly and playful, since each Griffin as a different personality.
You can say that a lot of the works left describing about these creatures are quite fabricated, and there hasn't been a sighting of these creatures for centuries. Until now.

There has been few rumors going around that an island hidden by a mysterious fog as been sheltering the what's left of the species. The Island has been nicknamed " Chrisalis Isle"

Will you venture through the unknown to meet these mysterious creatures?

.Griffin Species.
(Gryps vulgaris)

Grey Griffin
Sharp and keenly intelligent, the Grey Gryphon embodies the classic gryphonic image. They make their home in the airy mountains, above tree line, and utilize the high soaring method of hunting described above. Greys have been weighed at 70 – 130 stone, with a body of medium build, well-balanced between agility and strength. They usually prey upon rabbit, beaver, woodchuck, and even small deer, and certainly aren’t above scavenging.
Wood Griffin
Throughout the woodlands of all temperate provinces, the Wood Gryphon is perhaps the smallest of gryphons – even the most massive one would barely come up to a man’s waist if seated on its haunches. They are quiet, nocturnal stalkers whose color blends well with the shadows and leaves of the deep forests – they stalk in search of their prey, which can be anything from large insects to rabbits, squirrel, weasel, and sometimes fish, which they pull from streams.
Masked Griffin
A mid-sized gryphon, the Masked is somewhere between the Grey and the Great Crested in stature and weight. Masked Gryphon differs slightly from others of its kin in that it prefers aquatic prey, and will most usually make its home near the seacoast or at the edge of large, mountain lakes. But it isn't rare to see a Masked often hunt for rabbits, squirrels, occasionally bigger animals like a small baby fawn.
Great Crested Griffin
Great Crested can weigh up to 270 stone and stand five arms tall when seated on its back haunches. The crest is held low and sleek when flying, but when aroused by danger or during courtship dances, the crest can fan out, making the gryphon appear even larger and more intimidating. Prey as large as bear and mountain goats has been taken by these gryphons. They only nest themselves up in the mountains. Despite their size, Great Cresteds are remarkably agile, and can attain phenomenal speeds in their dive.
Fire's Northern Griffin
By far the largest and heaviest-bodied of known gryphon varieties, Fire’s Northern Gryphon can weigh 450 stone and stand as tall as a large man. These powerful creatures are hunters of the high air, and rarely fly down to the lowlands. They take mountain sheep, cougar, and numerous smaller furred creatures that live in the highlands, caching their meals for later eating. Little else is known of these large predators, for they live in such high places that often the air is barely fit for humans to breathe.
Fillin's Griffin
Fillin's Griffin is a stalker in the plains, using its coloration and low stance to get as near to prey as possible. Then, in a swift burst, it will leap forward and fly/pounce toward its prey, often using both the ground and the air in the same pursuit as it skims over the tops of the grasses.Fillin's Gryphons never fly high, but are intensely agile in low flight, as well as upon the ground. These are small, light gryphons – if seated on its haunches, even the largest would barely crest a man’s waist, and most weigh anywhere from 25 to 40 stone. Unlike it's any other kins, it has a unusual canine snout than a usual bird beak.

-Griffins mate for life. Even when their partner dies, they continue to live single instead of looking for another mate.
-All the Griffins already has a name when born
-All the griffins on the Isle are ABLE to speak two-legged's language.
-There is no adoption limit, but more you try to Charm the gryphons, less chance that the Griffin will join you.
- A "stone" is mass terms would be around 14lbs.

The. Light. House.

The griffins visits the light house from time to time out of curiosity or just to wonder around.
This will be your chance to "charm" the griffin to stay with you.

Charming Rules
- No powerplaying
- The Griffin will choose a partner that is suited for them, not just fancy words.
- Keep in mind that they can choose not to stay with anyone if nothing sparks their interest into staying with you or any others.
- The chance of their likeness to stay with you depends on their personality / how much Bel likes the griffin.
- You may include your other creatures, but it can be for the good or the bad.

Without anyone noticing, a small light chestnut colored griffin lightly trotted in, looking defensively around as she took a seat. It seems like she is more wearily of her surroundings than any other griffins that have visited. She quietly whispers her name, "Rioshi"

Depending on the Griffin's personality, the breeding might success, or not, and even determine how many eggs it might have.

The hatching cycle takes from a day to even 7 days, hence patience is required.
If the parents are 2 different species, the griffies will be one of the two species.
Any unusual traits can be passed over, but it's not guaranteed.

If there turns out to be only one egg, the owners can either share the ownership or choose it between themselves.

Customs avaliable here on Chrisalis Isle is very unique.
Instead of just coloring the lines that you want, the customs will be made "by hand"
Meaning, It'll actually be a custom "custom". If you get what I mean.

Hence the reason, the customs cost a VR 08 dog.
It's very rare that customs will be open, so keep your eyes open.

BUT if you just wish for a custom that is colored in in the linearts I have now, it'll just cost 3 uncommons or a rare dog, that isn't from 2011.

.These miniature versions of your griffins are difficult to catch; and usually are found with blank pelts underground .
.To get one of these colored as your own griffin you must fill out a form and add an uncommon 09 pet with it.
.Maybe then you'll manage to distract it enough to sneak it into your purse/suitcase/manbags.
.I ONLY COLOR THESE AS CHRISALIS ISLE GRIFFINS ; not your own designed griffin, one that comes from this thread.
.Colorings will be done within 4 days of distracting the mini griffin.
.If the distraction is not enough; the griffin will dig a hole and hide itself.
. At this point you will not get a coloring unless you find a more suitable pet.
