In a way I'd love a horse but in a way I wouldn't. I don't honestly know the first thing about caring for horses. Yes I've read books but I've never even cleaned out a stable. So I'd want to get experience before I accually got a horse. Plus I kinda need money first.

You could do some work at a stable. That way you could make money and get expirience.

considering my nearest stable is half an hour away? Unlikely. I can't drive just yet. I got my provisional but lessons come later xD

Oh, well that would be a problem. =/ The barn I ride at is half an hour away... my mom has to drive me there everyday to ride. X)

Thanks ~cheesie~! Well, maybe you could do one and just mix up the patterns some. After Dreamcatcher gets some skills I would love to breed her to another thoroughbred. And I looked through the barns to find only 2 or 3 thoroughbreds, all of which are mares. D:

Are there any 4-H clubs near you horsey? I'm my local 4-H horse club and we get to work with one of our leaders horses and show.

Are you talking about the southeast US? I live in the southeast US and the closest I know of a horse getting equine herpies was like new hampshire. The rest of the cases of been seen in the western US.

Yeah. Lets hope the western infected horses don't come over here.
