Flamestar took a deep breath, "Birdfeather...I was wondering if you..." he froze, "Umm...I was wondering if you'd like to go hunting with me later...?" He felt stupid for asking this now, but he needed to talk to Birdfeather when they were completely alone.

Birdfeather smiles and nods "Sure. I would love to hunt with you."

Flamestar nodded and smiled. Then, seeing Silvermoon tense he quickened his pace so he was next to her, "What is it?" he asked. Scenting the air he though he caught a slight rouge scent, I knew it! he thought, So the rumors are true then... He let out a sigh then sucked it back in, hoping no one had heard the exhaustion in his voice.

Silvermoon's voice grew low. "Rogue smell." She turned to her leader. "What does it mean?" She asked. She was worried for her clan. She didn't know why but this smell of Rogue put her at unease.

Birdfeather meows "Maybe they want us to be driven out of our territory."

Flamestar sighed, "I must tell you all something." he said, sorrow cutting into his voice.

Flamestar continued, "There have been rumors going around that Scarclan is planning to come back for revenge. These I have never believed. But recently there have been rouges coming and trying to take Scarclan's old territory back. They have been attacking Rageclan's portion of it too." he said. "These rouges are from Scarclan I'm afraid, and they are only the beginning of what is to come." The tom's voice took on an eerie tone as he said these last words.
