Oekaki and Potential Improvements

Yes i still would like to see these things potentially implimented as well! ^^ I could easily see myself using chickenpaint a LOT more if even just a few of the things on the front page of this post could be done <3

Perhaps the biggest thing is that id love to see the pen pressure size corrected. I dont know if its just a "me" thing or if others experience it too but when i set my pen size, if i press all the way down i end up with a stroke thats twice the size of what i set it to, other art programs dont do that and it makes maintaining good line start / stop tips twice as difficult. (example, i set the brush to size 5, and will get a size 10 brush stroke if i press the pen all the way down)

Coming back to this specific part of my original improvement suggestion to add a bit on to it. I realize there are many artists on here who are perhaps used to the way the pen pressure currently behaves, so if this did happen to be recalibrated so the brush strokes are true to size, perhaps have some kind of legacy option available in chicken paint's settings page that lets you go back to how it was before. <3

Yes please! In addition to the magic wand tool, an option to expand/shrink selection by X pixels would make SO MUCH DIFFERENCE in the first stages of coloring the image.

Thank you everyone for the support and continued suggestions. Ill be making it a goal of mine over the next week or so to update the front post as much as possible. I also cant believe this thread is 4 years old! Anywho, ill work on updates as soon as i can. Please continue suggesting things! I think I speak for many of us when I say I want oekaki to be improved upon.

Support! The DPI is a huge factor into why I haven't wanted to work in Oekaki anymore, I am a detail lover and the pixelation of what I'm doing (especially multi adopt pieces) infuriates me lmao I'd definitely be more interested in working more often in Oekaki if it gets QOL updates!

Magic Wand Tool
Add Magic wand tool, possibly. I'm not 100% certain if it's doable, but that's
what suggestions are for, right?

I am no coder and I don't know how to make programs- so perhaps there's something about CS' chickenpaint that's different.
But I just want to say I just remembered this, for years I've had an offline desktop copy of chibipaint [chibi, not chicken] that has a magic wand tool.

So if we go off that.... I can't see how it isn't doable. It would make life so much easier and would probably help avoid at least a portion of the need for artists to make 'cover" adopts and the like [I realize there are more reasons artists make cover adopts- I'm talking about the major reason why I've felt inclined to].

[The desktop version of chibipaint I have is from before chickenpaint was released as far as I'm aware.]
