H10.5 Generation Competition
This is the page H10.5 will be conducting a monthly competition on. This competition is currently OPEN

To enter, post a boarding form for the horse.

This competition is based around foal creating! You can ask for an artist to create foals for you, or create your own! So read the below Catagories for an understanding of which competition you can enter!

The classes are;
Junior - H10.4 & H10.5 new members
Intermediate - H10.3 members
Advanced - H10.2 members
Veteran - H10. 1 members
Natural - Natural foals only
Unatural - Unatural foals only
Hybrid - Hybrid foals only
Open - All of the above can enter

Highest Pointed Foal
This catagory goes to the highest pointed foal of the catagory. Junior's points must be over 60 points. Intermediate's points over 120 points. Advanced over 180 points. Veteran over 240 points. Natural, Unnatural, Hybrid and Open is over 120 points. You may enter H10 class; then all of the Natural, Unnatural, Hybrid and open. As long as your points meet the standards.

Best Self-Created Foal
This catagory involves best design. This class can have any points and really any foal can enter as long as the H10 age is correct for H10 classes. This class is compulsory that YOU do the design. This also means that the horses you breed with are all owned by YOU.

This class is for all of the foals who win in the above classes. The best foal will be choosen by the public (via pm to ~*Oddly Shaded*~) and the top of each class will be posted before it moves to the best overall foal which is all the winners from each catagory.

New thread sounds good, less clutter here. Maybe would it be possible to wait till later in July to start running it? As I said earlier, I'll be mainly absent for 10 days starting a few days from now, I'll be able to post a bit, but not very much and no drawing, either.

I like the idea of Best Self Bred Foal, too. Would it be based on skills as well as everything else, or just the art/design/creativity etc?

Ahh yesh; We wouldn't be running the competition until at least the end of the month anyway. It will need a lot of work.

Glad you like it I dare say in that catagory we'd have 2 sections; Highest Pointed & Most Creative/best looking Up the top i'll put the catagories and the different sections.

I like! So, should we maybe start to make a to-do list of sorts? Like we have to figure out what each class will be, what it is judged on, entry rules and the prizes. About how many classes would there be? 4 or 5? Oh! We could have the winners of each class go into one final class, for the title of 'H10.4's Favourite Equine'! Or something.

How are we going to distinguish if you are considered a junior, intermediate, advanced, or veteran?

I think the most unique foal should be the foal with the most unique marking. Just saying.

I'll go threw all the users and post on the main page and here what class you belong in. I think we do as toppy suggested. But that just means a HELL of alot of work. But i think the junior and intermediate classes should have higher prizes as they are the users who need the prizes the most. Us 'veteran' and Advanced are winning so much and the newer and less winning users only have breedings and weekly credits to go by. And the rare winnings here and there.

Most Unique foal is the foal bred from two horses and it doesn't look like it's parents all that much.

The foal that shows alot of both of it's parents in the design.

I was also thinking, maybe have an 'allrounder' class. Like have a 'mini finals' class. Sort of. It would have the same requirements as all the other classes (beside the unique and parental class) and the foal would be judged on Highest Points, Design, and whatever else is in the other classes.
