I honestly can't decide between the first one and the second one. The first's eyes are gorgeous against it's colors and the second's color scheme is beautifully vibrant.

Why do you want this character?
Levi is eye-catching, not only in that he is a horse anthro, but in his color and markings. -3B- designed him very tastefully. But, it is not only this that has compelled me to apply for him. As I was thinking about how unlike my other characters Levi is--how I have no other anthro characters--and how much he needed a good story, one that wasn't related with assassins (as many anthro stories are). The basis of Levi's life dawned on me during the Independence Day fireworks. But, I shan't reveal what that was at this moment. c: Because of the thought and time put into a character I am coming to dearly love and a story so unlike many others, I hope my true feelings for Levi will be radiating from this form. c:

What will you do for him?
Levi will be cherished, being one of my more detailed and personal characters. He will be homed in my character thread and I would love to get a good deal of art for him--if I can find some less pricey shops who can do anthro forms. His story will be displayed and told, which I hope will also bring some interest in role playing at some point with other horse or perhaps, even other anthros in general. I hope to also try out for another horse character who would be Levi's sister, but obviously, Levi comes first. <3

[ An Assemblage of General Information ]

Full Name : Levi Jesse Hiram

Name Origin & Meaning : All three of Levi's names are from Hebrew, as his heritage extends far into the past, back to his ancestors in Israel. All of the Hiram children have full Hebrew names.
Given the name Levi, which means “Joined in Harmony,” his parents thought it fitting in as they are joined in marriage and the Hiram family is joined in harmony. Jesse is Levi's middle name and it means, “Gift.” Children are gifts from God, as his parents often quote. The family surname, Hiram, doesn't necessarily have deeper meaning for them as a whole, but to Levi is does. Its meaning is “Exalted.”

Nicknames : Sterling, a name given to him by his older brother Reuben, who joked that Levi always thought of himself as better than his older brother as a young child. Levi does like praise, after all.

Gender : Male

Age : 18 Human Years, 2 ½ Horse Years (Approximately)

Height & Weight : At 6' 2”, he weighs a mere 160 lbs.

Breed : Chincoteague Pony x Quarter Horse

Date of Birth : November 24, 1989

Physical Description & Attributes : Levi is a wiry fellow and was a beanpole growing up. In fact, during most of his tween and teenage years his body was exerting itself by making him taller, rather than equally big and tall. Only now is Levi beginning to put on more substantial weight and muscle.
His mainstay of strength lies in his surprisingly brawny legs, with which he won fame during his high school career for track and field sports. Levi first realized his talent as he was always running away from Reuben whenever his brother wanted to tussle—Levi always escaped.
Physically, Levi is attractive with his handsome palomino coat and flaxen mane. His splashy paint markings are piquant as well. Oh, and not to mention those catching green eyes. Despite that and his good nature, once ladies are aware of his handicap, the luster they found in the fine young stallion diminishes.

Tattooed across his upper abdomen are the words, “Beyond Justice.” Another ink on his left forearm reads, “Hero.” Both these tats are symbols of Levi's calling and his journey getting there, which as not been an easy road. He has forever dreamed of being some kind of hero.

Personality :

Likes : Levi finds solace in the smell of the salty spray, crashing against the cliff face, and how you can sometimes hear it echo through the night. He really enjoys running, feeling the burn in his legs, the shortness of breath, and the wind in his face with the scent of early morning. Spending time with his family helps him to feel at peace because of the closeness there, he is well-accepted and loved. He loves the jokes of his ever-clowning brother Reuben, and the devoted love of his little sister Etana. A slave to wanderlust and the thrill of adventure, it's no wonder that he can be hard to find.

Backstory : I can't speak. When I try to pronounce the sounds to make words, all the effort turns into a horrible gargling noise that gets swallowed down in the back of my throat. As a baby I laughed. . . all the time. My parents adored that deep, belly-laugh, but they grew concerned as my quiet younger sister began to talk before me. I was turning out to be quite the surprise. Even then I was a runner and when I trotted down to the beach to chase the waves, mom might call me, but I couldn't answer her. If I was ever in danger, I could yell, but the word "help" evaded my mouth.
