Alphabetimalz, often referred to as "malz", are a magical species born from a secret realm that only a few brave adventurers and magical beings have ever ventured into. This world is known as the Alpha-Zone, a space where anything can come to life!

A long time ago, an adventurer began to experiment with the very essence of creation. Thus, the first Alphabetimal was born, Alphys, formed from a mix of animals and inanimate objects that, until then, had no true life of their own. The result was extraordinary: animals gaining magical abilities, designs, and personality traits shaped by the item they were paired with.

One important rule lies at the heart of every Alphabetimalz creation. Each pairing must match by starting letter! A bat may be fused with a banana, a cat with christmas, and so on. This rule keeps the magic balanced within the Alpha-Zone. If the letters do not match, the fusion simply fails, so combinations like 'dog x eclipse' are impossible.

Each Alphabetimal is a Species x Item hybrid, and the "item" is not always something tangible, it ranges from physical objects to mere ideas. The items could range from common things like a pencil or an apple, to rarer, more abstract experiences like a rainy night or a christmas morning.

🌈 Alphy's Rules ★

𐙚 Ownership & Credit
𑣲 ~ You must always credit the artist of the adoptable both on and offsite.
𑣲 ~ Do not remove the Alphabetimalz watermark, or crop the art in a way that hides credit.
𑣲 ~ You may upload the design off-site only if proper credit is provided.

𐙚 Usage Rights
You may use your alphabetimalz for:
𑣲 ~ Roleplay ✓
𑣲 ~ Lore & Stories ✓
𑣲 ~ Personal artwork ✓
Commercial use is not allowed unless discussed with the artist and given explicit permission.

𐙚 Editing & Redesigns
𑣲 ~ You may not draw over any art as a base for new designs.
𑣲 ~ Minor edits are allowed for your own personal storage. Do not post your edits on the co-op archive.
𑣲 ~ Major redesigns require permission from the artist. This includes:
Altering species traits, markings, or edits to the character beyond recognition.

𐙚 Trading/Gifting/Reselling
𑣲 ~ You may trade or gift Alphabetimalz after 1 week of ownership.
𑣲 ~ Resale is not allowed. You've received your 'mal for free, and will do onto others the same way!
𑣲 ~ When trading/gifting Alphabetimalz, you must properly site proof of ownership, as well as all required information.

𐙚 MYO's
𑣲 ~ MYO slots must have cited proof of possession.
𑣲 ~ All MYO designs must be approved before use.
𑣲 ~ Do not create unofficial MYOs, edits, or variants.

𐙚 General rules
𑣲 ~ No guilt-tripping, begging, or spamming
𑣲 ~ CS rules must be followed on and off-site

𑣲 ~ Artists reserve the right to revoke an Alphabetimal if:
1. Rules are deliberately, and repeatedly violated
2. The owner is engaging in harassment or malicious behavior in relation to the species &/or adopt
Revocation is a last resort. Staff will always attempt to communicate and resolve issues first! ★

🌈 Alphy's Ban Policy ★

𐙚 Community Conduct

By participating in Alphabetimalz, you agree to follow the rules set forth. We strive to maintain a respectful, safe, and fun creative space for everyone, and most issues can be addressed with a friendly conversation or reminder. However, more serious rule-breaking may lead to consequences.

★ Levels of Offenses 🌈

𐙚 Light Violations
𑣲 ~ tone issues
𑣲 ~ misunderstanding rules
𑣲 ~ missing small requirements
𑣲 ~ incorrect/outdated form usage
𑣲 ~ minor posting errors (void links)

Action Taken:
You’ll receive a friendly reminder, usually through a PM, to help clarify the issue.
This will be noted internally but won’t affect your standing unless it becomes a recurring issue!

𐙚 Moderate Violations
𑣲 ~ ignoring warnings
𑣲 ~ hostility toward staff or users
𑣲 ~ unsolicited DMs about trades/offers/etc.
𑣲 ~ passive-aggressive responses after being corrected
𑣲 ~ ongoing negativity or actions that disturb the space
𑣲 ~ attempting to stir drama or escalate minor conflicts
𑣲 ~ guilt-tripping other members to get favors or trades

Action Taken:
A formal warning will be issued and internally logged.
Depending on the severity, your ability to participate in trades, events, or raffles might be temporarily suspended.

𐙚 Serious Violations
𑣲 ~ evading bans or assisting evaders
𑣲 ~ using alt accounts to gain advantages
𑣲 ~ ongoing harassment or threats towards members
𑣲 ~ any form of derogatory or discriminatory language
𑣲 ~ copying assets, artwork, or ideas without permission
𑣲 ~ creating a hostile or unsafe environment intentionally
𑣲 ~ deceptive trading (fake offers or withholding owed items)
𑣲 ~ revenge-driven behavior following warnings or moderation

Action Taken:
Immediate and permanent removal from the Alphabetimalz community.
If necessary, your case will be referred to moderators for further action.
Any assets tied to your account, including malz, inventory, and currency, will be revoked.
* These may be redistributed at the staff's discretion.

🌈 Ban Consequences & Asset Revocation ★

When a user is permanently banned from Alphabetimalz, these actions will take place:

𑣲 ~ All owned designs, items, and currency related to Alphabetimalz will be revoked.
𑣲 ~ The banned individual will no longer be allowed to participate in any related activities, such as raffles, events, or trades.
𑣲 ~ The banned user loses all rights to any Alphabetimalz character designs, including the ability to trade, gift, or claim those designs.

𐙚 Loopholes

Claiming Ignorance: Trying to bypass the rules by claiming you didn’t know about them, or using technicalities to get around them. This will not be tolerated.

Evasion: If someone is banned and attempts to return under a different identity/account, that is considered ban evasion. Assisting anyone in evading their ban is also prohibited.

★ Appeal Process 🌈

If you believe a warning, strike, or ban was issued unfairly, you are welcome to appeal.

Appeals must be respectful and sent to the owner or an admin for review. Each appeal will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but please note that some decisions, especially those involving serious breaches of conduct, may not be eligible for reversal.

* If you unknowingly trade with a banned individual, staff reserves the right to reverse the transaction. Always verify trades carefully!
