Kumar can be a spunky little canine, always looking for the humor in every subject that gets brought up. He thinks that everything is a joke, and the word 'serious' isn't in his mental dictionary. This little boy can be very lovable, so it's impossible to stay mad at him for more than a few minutes. Despite this, Kumarariel can be very lonely at times and has a sort of bipolar personality when alone. Because of this, he has hurt people before. This is something that he wishes to change about himself.
Background/History [of pet]:
Kumarariel was born on the streets, with his brothers and sister. His mother had been a stray at the time he was born, and struggled to raise her pups. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't like the pups knew that. Kuma had been the smallest of his litter, the runt. Over just the few weeks after they were born, one of his siblings had passed on, and his sister was deathly ill. His mother did her best to take care of them, to make his sister better and to keep him and his brothers strong, but it was no use. Kumarariel's sister passed in a matter of days, leaving just him and his two brothers left to raise. His mother soon realized that she was unable to care for all the pups, and made the drastric choice to abandon Kumar, seeing that he was the smallest, weakest. He would be the next to get sick, or die if it happened. It was just easier for her to leave him alone to pass on.
The night she made the choice, she plucked him from the bundle of pups and took him out into the dark city streets. At first, the young pup, whos eyes had opened a few days ago, didn't know what was happening. He didn't fight his mother to show that he was strong, or do anything really besides allow himself to be carried away from his litter-mates and the alley he knew as a home. When his mother came to a river on the outer-edges of the city, she dropped the pup on the muddy bank, then turned around and left. Kuma waited, thinking that she was just leaving to go get his brothers, but he soon realized that something was wrong when the sun started to rise and his mother had not returned. When he whined, barked, howled, yelped for her, and she didn't come back. Had something happened to her, he wondered. Why hadn't she come back? Thousands of questions raced though the tiny pups head. Why is it so cold? Why is there so much water heading in one direction? When was mother going to come back? Plenty more to go along with thoughs aswell. After a few more hours, the sun finally high enough in the sky to warm the cold ground. Kuma finally assumed something had happened to his mother. That she wasn't coming back.
Struggling to stand, the young reddish hued pup tried to climb up the steep bank, tiny legs working their way up through the slick muddy terrain. It was hard, stessful. It caused a pain the young pup hadn't known he could feel. Strain. His fragial body wasn't ment to work this much. Move as much as he was. Kumar didn't let this get to him, though. He pushed himself to the limit, climbing only a few inches at a time. After what seemed like an eternity, the tiny pup made it to the top of the bank, panting as he collapsed on the ground.
After that, all he remembered was the blackness that took over him.
When Kumarariel woke up, he was stiff, a dull pain radiating through his bones to the marrow. Something wasn't right, he realized, and it wasn't just the pain. He wasn't on the muddy bank of the fast flowing river anymore. He was...somewhere. The floor cold as dry ice. What had happened after he'd passed out? Where was he? Slowly, the reddish pup stood up, flinching as pain shot through his tiny body.
